AccessPort retention clip fix

You could always just buy a new connector and swap the shell: http://www.digikey.com/product-search/en?keywords=ST40X-18S-CV(30)

$3.48

If you haven't lost the little plastic arms you can melt them back to the body of the connector with a soldering iron...

But you may run into the same dilemma regarding those frail plastic tabs breaking. Unless Cobb got the mega cheap version of those connectors.

Cobbs new ATR program is directly funding better clips.

I thought the new funds from ATR were going to their necessity for cocaine and underage she - males from Thailand.

But that makes sense too.

I emailed Cobb about this. The clip on my Accessport cable connector was broken. They sent me a free replacement. The new one has a different design and looks like it might be more durable in the long run.

when I emailed COBB, they said I'd had to purchase one because I want the original purchaser. Otherwise they replace under warranty.

I see. In my case, I am the original buyer. However and I just double checked my emails to verify, in my email I never told them I was the original buyer. I was actually expecting them to ask me where I bought it from, what date and what my AP serial number is, but they never asked that. They just immediately sent me a free replacement.
