when I emailed COBB, they said I'd had to purchase one because I want the original purchaser. Otherwise they replace under warranty.I emailed Cobb about this. The clip on my Accessport cable connector was broken. They sent me a free replacement. The new one has a different design and looks like it might be more durable in the long run.
I see. In my case, I am the original buyer. However and I just double checked my emails to verify, in my email I never told them I was the original buyer. I was actually expecting them to ask me where I bought it from, what date and what my AP serial number is, but they never asked that.
