Amazon Turbo Manifold

As many know from my build thread I have just installed this new turbo manifold I bought from amazon. It is an xs power v3 copycat pretty much.

Specs:
- No name (xs power style)
- T304 Stainless Steel
- 44mm wastegate flange
- threaded bung in collector for egt sensor
- good for 500whp (company says)

As for first impressions it seems to be of decent quality. Welds didn't penetrate into inside of runners so they could be better in that regard since it is a good sign to see them push through a bit more. The runners were welded inside and out on the flange which is good and quality seemed pretty good.

Overall I give it a 4 out of 5. It was in a package with form fitted styrofoam that held it safe and securely. The wastegate flange came with a cap and a clamp and the clamp they supplied didn't fit without a longer carriage bolt than supplied. I chose to just use a different clamp as the inside didn't seem to be wide enough with the one supplied.

Notes for anyone installing something similar

- I relocated my O2 sensor to the second bung a few inches further down my ebay downpipe to keep the wires away from the manifold's heat.

- I unbolted the passenger mount and dropped the engine to get it to fit into place. Kept it dropped a bit to give more room tightening it up.

- Everything seemed to fit great just more difficult to get to my turbo to manifold bolts on. I set the turbo behind the motor and left it laying down in my awd abyss until the manifold was all tightened up then bolted turbo up to it after that.

how has this treated you after a month of use? any leaks? flanges flat? what if you went back over the welds for some reinforcement? thanks!

Stainless isn't really something I would want to try and just weld over honestly. It has done great and no complaints except the wastegate block off plate leaking a tiny bit from the clamp not fitting great.

(I can only tell because it has a little black soot where it comes out)

I am on a cst4 at 25psi and haven't had an issue yet. Hopefully it continues to do well!

Thanks! Nice to hear. I have one of these and will be trying it as well. I was considering welding but perhaps I wait until it is a problem. my other question is are you using the turbo support bracket with this manifold? I know xspower says their warranty is void if you do(assuming this is from the same fabricator). Im not sure why that is the case.

Not sure why that would be the case and no I am not lol My car has no heat shields, catless exhaust, and all that so nothing factory is basically left haha

Yeah seems to be doing great. I checked the bolts a while back and all are still tight as well. Only thing I will suggest is to get a new block off plate for the ewg if you aren't going to be using it. Mine didn't even fit or work and caused a lot of issues. No cracks and looks just like it did when I installed it.
