Building for the road course...again

Ship them to me as used dildos

What happens if you drive across the border with them?
I guess the problem is the border. If I ship them to anyone of you guys, same shit. They’ll get inspected and I’ll pay tariffs on aluminum and steel. Same shit.

If I drive across it’s just the risk of getting searched. Maybe I can call the border and ask? I’m not sure.

Fortune auto is trying to generate the certificate of origin which we need to prove this shit originated in the USA but they’re struggling and asking me questions which of course I have no idea

What a pain. Not sure what to do.
Kinda wanna sell them and buy ktuned. Ktuned is local. All rebuilding and revalving is done 45 minutes away from me

How long a drive is it? Maybe trailer the racecar across the border for a day then install them in canned-yadia before driving back over.

Fortune auto is in Virginia. 11 hour drive one way if I wanna deliver them. I could take a day or two off and just send it non stop. That sounds like a pain too. This shouldn’t be so hard

Anyone in Canada that can clip the border and mail them from this side?
That’s what I’m trying to figure out. I could bring them to Buffalo and ship from a ups store there? I’m just worried if the border asks me wtf I’m doing do I just say I’m going shopping? Maybe not believable with the current exchange rate

I meant more have an MSO Canadian pick them up and ship them to you from across the border. Bonus points if they heading this way anyways for something else.

I am definitely open to the assistance of anyone in this matter. I would love to have these reworked as discussed. Knowing the rear is so wrong I definitely ain’t reinstalling these.

There’s a guy on the k20 forum trying to see if he can help. He owns a few Midas shops on your guys side of the border so maybe he can help me out somehow.

Ideally, I need the “certificate of origin” from fortune auto. They are trying to generate it but they have questions and I don’t know the answers or who to talk to about it. It’s all very demotivating

Oh wait, you're in Canada? I guess I had that backwards then, my bad. I'm sure there's SOMEONE near where these would get rebuilt to spec that can ship them for you.
If not, we can probably figure out some other kind of shenanigans to get this handled.

I’m kinda a hostage here ain’t I. It sucks.

I am going to try and make the fortune auto deal work. If I can’t get this cross border business sorted out then worst case I may have to sell and try the ktuned stuff.

I do like the idea of having support local for sure. They support 2 8th gen’s currently both are gridlife cars so they do have some relevant chassis data for me
