No I bought fluid and track pads with mine. Everything else you need comes with the kit.

I have a set of Tesla Model S front calipers that are the same as the Gen1 V's and S60R's that I was hoping there was an off the shelf adapter/rotor for. Would be interested to see what happens with this.

How would this change brake bias, potentially? We're talking about fronts only, right?

Ideally, you want your fronts and rears to lock-up simultaneously - that's the sign of correct bias. Of course, you can always adjust this by pad selection, like running Carbotech XP12s up front and XP10s in the rear, like lots of folks do.

It would be nice, especially since we already have a larger rear brakes option with the Mazda 5 brackets/discs.

Damn I wonder if he made his own brackets for that!

I guess I never posted up in here. After test fitting on a 6 two things became apparent:
1. A larger diameter rotor would have to be used with these calipers.
2. The brackets I had made wouldn't work for this reason.

It might be more of a bolt on affair for the 3. I can look into this if I find some free time this week.

In other news I'm pursuing my own 4 piston caliper kit for the 6. It will allow for the use of 16" wheels. I'm already part way through development, I'm just waiting to receive my first set of calipers to ensure it will all fit up properly.

:aaaaa:

Wait a tic.....Corksport "2 weeks"??? or for realz 2 weeks???
Damond's "2 weeks" tend to be a lot faster, FWIH.
So is there going to be a hookup on the calipers themselves too? Need new rotors?
