Now that the weather is nice and i should be getting my head back from the machine shop next week, things will start to move a little faster.

Yea i went with it because it makes upgrading a lot easier too

I have my turbo with stovk flange on the oem exi mani then I upgrade after it started to leak. With the CPE design, it's a few hours of patience to get it all together and seat correctly. I would I can sway my external wastegate out for a v band but then I would have to do the same for the mani. LIFE

Yea honestly im not a big fan of the cpe manifold, i dont think the placement of the ewg flange is in a good spot so im sure ill creep. Eventually id like to build a better manifold but after i finish this current build, ill be done for awhile. I have too many unfinished projects right now.

Its just some cheap $30 shelf i picked up at lowes
Okay

I can only imagine. I see any good with boost junky (russell) for custom manifolds. The only thing is there is no flow rate and assurance to what it can handle. I don't know many that pushed one over 7

Id really like to build my own twin scroll mani and find a twin scroll turbine housing for a pte 6062 and see what it will do but that will be at least a year or two out before i even start to think seriously about that.

Well progress is progress

Got my rats nest of gauge wiring all cleaned up and interior all put together. Wideband failsafe/boost gauge, aux port injection fuel pressure gauge, and oil temp gauge.

Tomorrow the goal is to finish up my transfer case and get it bolted up and possibly install the engine and trans in the car. My goal by the end of the week is to have it all installed so i can start working on mocking up some intercooler piping and move my meth injection stuff to where the battery was. Still need to move the battery to the trunk and run a power cable, have a few things left to finish up with the rear suspension and hoping to have it going by the end of the month.

Awesomeness!

What kind of farm do you have?

I have 400 acres of corn and soybeans on a rotation. Along with an acre garden of carrots, green beans, peppers, tomatoes, potatoes, strawberries, lettuce, rhubarb, peach trees, cherry trees, and apple trees.

200 acres of corn you say? Next year when it is close to planting season I'll send you some corn your way. Even if it's a nice 10 acre acre test plot, I'd love to see the look on the sales guys face when he see the sign of a company in California dipping it's toes in Iowa. Money saved, can go to car parts! Lol

Problem with that is cali is a desert, we have much much better soils and a better grow season. I highly doubt that any cali corn could produce 250 bu in our soil. Not knocking cali but i could go on and on talking soil types and stuff as to why it wouldnt do very well. Ive got a science degree in growing stuff. I actually am testing out 40 acres of some non gmo corn and some plants are putting on 5 ears, its doing so well.

You can see silks on almost every node going down the stalk. Now the plant will most likely abort all but one or two ears but ive never seen this before out in a big field like this.

Woah! That is a trip to see. I would like to see updates on this plant. I totally get your concern as far as California goes. You can just put up the sign anyway, to stir some shit. Salesman in the area would loose it if they saw a California brand in Iowa. No doubt would make its way to our sister companies and then to our Corporate office.

I totally agree with you, It's amazing actually, we have a hybrid that thrives in northern California, but you plant that sucker south of Modesto and it won't grow worth a shit. Location really does make a difference. Anyway. Not trying to derail the thread, just trying to help when I can. No hard feelings, I could not even get my own uncle (Iowa as well) to plant our products lol.
