Well I have been gathering my parts for a while and finally getting started on assembly. I’m really wanting to hit 600. Here’s what I’m using.

Corksport CST6
Manley H Tuff rods with arp2000 bolts
Manley Pistons with .250 pins
L19 head studs
ARP main studs
New Mazda oil pump and water pump
JMF v2 manifold
Corksport 3.5” intake
Ported head with +1mm valves
Corksport exhaust manifold (if it ever comes off back order)
King tri metal main bearings
ACL rod bearings
Cometic head gasket
Kelford 247c cams and springs
Hellcat fuel pump
Corksport throttle body
I have the corksport FMIC now but I know it will need upgraded. Just not sure yet what to use.
Still trying to figure out what clutch I’m going to use, what DP (running the Cobb currently),
I’m also running the Cobb catback. I’d love to keep the catback because I like the sound of it. Anyone know if I can use that exhaust for this build and still hit my power goal?
Also looking at the Bosch 95ib 1000cc injectors from summit racing part# DWK-17u0000954 anyone know if these will work with my set up?
Looking at the AEM 25-305bk fuel pressure regulator. Anyone know if this will work?
I’ve had the injectors and regulator in my cart for a while but afraid to place the order because I can’t figure out if they’re what I need or not. Needless to say any input on these parts would be greatly appreciated.

I’ll post pictures as soon as I get that figured out

That treadstone FMIC is pretty nuts & the brace bar kit it comes with it makes the car pretty fkn sturdy

Got the email yesterday that my split second controller and wiring harness shipped out from speed performance. Do I need a wot box? From what I could find it looks like it’s for flat foot shifting and 2 step. I thought I remembered reading somewhere that it was needed for over rev too but I can’t find that now.

If you're running auxiliary injectors off a Split Second, you need a wotbox if you intend to do any FFS or launch control. Without it, you'll only cut the DI injectors but the aux injectors will keep spraying, and you'll lean burn.

I started going thru some of my boxes tonight because I’m getting to that point where I can’t remember what I have, what’s still on order and what I still need to order. Figured I’d grab some more pics. Assembly should start soon. 7E35C7A9-E22B-4AC3-9323-0CFFA15D8B43.jpegA018B510-C2CC-4C7E-888C-CFBD862ECDC1.jpegC82265B9-5E42-4085-A85B-FA69E8F54578.jpegC77E452D-6104-42EC-B426-369A06C39F91.jpeg4CDD8814-A933-492C-8019-924DD3BA2196.jpeg7E35C7A9-E22B-4AC3-9323-0CFFA15D8B43.jpegA018B510-C2CC-4C7E-888C-CFBD862ECDC1.jpegC82265B9-5E42-4085-A85B-FA69E8F54578.jpegC77E452D-6104-42EC-B426-369A06C39F91.jpeg4CDD8814-A933-492C-8019-924DD3BA2196.jpegA018B510-C2CC-4C7E-888C-CFBD862ECDC1.jpeg7E35C7A9-E22B-4AC3-9323-0CFFA15D8B43.jpegA018B510-C2CC-4C7E-888C-CFBD862ECDC1.jpegC82265B9-5E42-4085-A85B-FA69E8F54578.jpegC77E452D-6104-42EC-B426-369A06C39F91.jpeg4CDD8814-A933-492C-8019-924DD3BA2196.jpeg

Well I decided to go a different route for my PI set up. Got this bad boy in today. Pretty excited about this. E50C1979-32C7-46B8-ABBC-9B78B4C9F23B.jpeg

So I was taking some measurements today on my new crank. Started comparing measurements of each journal and decided to weigh them while I was at it. Didn’t have anything super accurate that measures that heavy so I threw them on my house scales. The visual difference is pretty obvious but I didn’t think it would be that much. On the scales the eco boost crank weighs 4 pounds less than my factory Mazda crank. Thought that was pretty interesting and figured I would put up a side by side pic for anyone that hasn’t seen it. 4D7CAF61-C715-449D-A2AF-C146DD29A1F3.jpeg14BFF982-A26B-4C71-AA5E-0CE8C234109B.jpeg437A9AD0-7F6C-4000-9B0F-AF02878477BC.jpeg

Other then weight how do the cranks compare? I’ve got a motor that needs a crankshaft and the eco boost crank is so much cheaper. I believe I’ve read that the eco boost crank works with our disi motors. Can you confirm?

I will be taking more measurements this weekend just for my own curiosity purposes but I’m sending it out Monday to have it balanced because I’m deleting the balancer. If there is anything specific you want me to compare before Monday, let me know and I will get the measurements.

Honestly I just need to know if I go to Ford and buy an eco boost crank, can I use it to rebuild my disi motor or not. If you can confirm that’d be great!
