When I pulled my timing cover off, 2 parts fell on the ground. I've been searching online for a few hours and finally found out they are from the VVT actuator. I hope this helps someone else figure out what the parts are from.

It doesn’t matter, what codes or combustion problems are you having?Do you really think that the position of the VVT on the shaft does not matter? I reassembled a new one without paying attention but I have problems with engine combustion and I wonder if it comes from there.

I am doing this to my speed 3 now. I am doing the torque spec plus 90⁰ on the bolt. I put the bolt in dry. Despite all my best efforts, the best I can get is about 20⁰ using a breaker bar and all 200lbs of my fat ass to torque it. Any ideas?
