Then it doesn't matter, You should be able to look down the veins and see the curvature. if there is any they should be "Swept Back", like the direction the slots are "supposed to go"
 
Finally got the axle out of the transmission. Bought this and used the bigger opened end, slid it between the transmission and axle and gave it a wack with a 3lbs sledge. Came right out.

Finally got the boot back together. Hope I put it together right. We will find out once I'm up and running.

I am mentally challenged. I took off my right wheel, and lo and behold the rotor said "Right." So I suppose I can lay that question to rest.

Are you kidding me? How the hell do you even screw up these threads? Extreme carelessness, or not giving a shit? Anyone have any ideas how I should go about fixing this? Are Helicoils okay for this type of job? I am dumbfounded.

If that's for the RMM you could slightly drill that out and get away with just having a bit of blue loctite on the good threads past the bad with maybe a slightly longer bolt.

I think that was the mind set of the Previous owner. Sure sucks for the next guy. Lol

I'd try clean it up with a tap see if you can salvage it, then new bolts with locktite, is that for the RMM?

Yes, I was trying to get the engine mounted this evening. Was mocking up C.S's new RMM and noticed the threads being screwed up. Definitely ruined my night.

Helicoil it. Helicoils are stronger than aluminum threads.

Good to know, thanks man! I Guess I'll have to wait another week to get this thing mounted. Will be my first HeliCoil experience. Do you know what size kit I will need, I think these bolts are a M14 1.5 pitch?

I don't know what the thread size is for that bolt but that will determine what kit you'll need. Usually the kit will tell you what size you need to make the hole, if not it's easy to find on the interwebs. Helicoils are pretty simple, just take your time and make sure you keep it perpendicular.

Keep the tools lubricated too, otherwise you'll snap the kit. Don't ask me how I know lol
 
With the amount of thread left in the hole combined with the loading on the bolt being primarily perpendicular to the bolt and with it being one of three bolts holding that together, i would exactly what @Awafrican said, try to clean it up with a tap and use a bolt long enough to hit the good threads in the bottom of the hole. if they are too far gone to clean up you could just use a drill to get them out of the way and allow for clear access to the remainin threads. @AYOUSTIN would know more about this for sure but i think the general guideline is that you want a length of thread engagement greater than 1.5 times the diameter of the bolt. From the picture it seems like you are a little short of that mark, but again with the redundancy on this particular bolt i think it will be fine.
 
You might see if you can find a forming tap rather than a cutting tap for that thread size. You might save more thread engagement if you chase it with the forming tap, or at least do so first before chasing it with a more-typical cutting tap. Of course it might not be worth it... the cheapest M14x1.5 thread forming tap on MSC is $63. Yeesh.
