So a little bit of background on the car. I am the second owner, purchased July 23rd 2012, from a very nice 65 year old man. He admitted to the car being his mid life crisis, but he never modded the car and had an overabundance amount of paper work for the car. It was completely dealer serviced and taken car of by the same dealer every time. Well the car has gone through a few phases of modifications and each phase it gets better and better. Here is the mod list as of 2/10/2016:

I love the car and can't wait for it to come back this next season. She will be a monster and can't wait to see what Mark can pull out of her before I break more shit! The endless money pit has been my greatest joy for some time now and has been the reason for me meeting some of my closest friends I have now. @Sho has been there in the freezing barn with me almost every week helping me along the way with the build and I can't ask for a better friend. Enough of the gushy shit and onto PICTARS!

So spent the Friday and Saturday taking off my KW V1's in preparation for the new setup I am getting. So the car is on jack stands and blocks of wood holding the LCA's up to not stress them. I also mounted the new Optima Red Top battery in the hatch. Its mounted very securely to the spare tire cover but its heavy to now it seems like it will move around a lot if I'm driving hard. I didn't have to worry about the with the little Deka battery. So I think I'm going to bolt the spare tire cover to brackets that I am going to weld to the unibody. But the car has turned over! Sounds pretty good from what I can hear. I just turned it over to get the oil system primed. Should have the new suspension setup this week. Hope to also have my new welder come in this week so I can fab up the downpipe and the dump tube. The rest of the stuff I have is all cosmetic stuff. Other than getting a controller from Split second for the 6th port. I did get my new BOV in the mail too. I went with the Synapse Blow off Valve with anti stall kit. I just wanted to try something different so I went with something without a diaphragm.

With only 5k miles on them they still look brand new!

I make out when people need money lol. But also came across a good deal on a crank that has been polished today. Offered the guy 150 and he took it. So I'm going to have it keyed and going to have it as a spare to throw in if my bearings decide to let go again this next season or I'll just throw it in next winter with some OEM bearings. Just need to get some timing and oil pump gears to key too and I'll be good to go.

Why did you have to shorten the 4" HTP?
I had to get a new elbow made for my mani and I used a lot better quality materials which were thicker so it pushed my turbo over to the driver side more. And now the HTP intake doesn't line up where it should. And I just learned how to weld so I'm cutting up everything and changing it lol.

So I'm getting my powedercoated stuff back today and needless to say I'm pumped. I've gotten a few teaser pics and it looks great as far as I have seen. I'll post more pictures today once I put it all on. So onto a little update the 6th port has been wired up, thanks to @Sho. Fueling system is complete with the 6th port with 2200cc injectors and then a DW300c ITFP. After doing the ITFP a couple times I made this How-To (http://mazdaspeeds.org/index.php?threads/how-to-itfp-replacement.1186/)
Today I'm going to throw some matte black paint on a few things to clean the rest of the engine bay up and then I'm going to figure out how to make a new downpipe and get it welded up tonight. Then all the car will need is a dump tube which I just don't want to make so its going to Mark Gibson's shop and he will fab that up for me. Then hopefully the car can be tuned and ready to go. I have a spare crank I got for a steal and then some new timing sprockets and a crank pulley to get keyed for next winter or if the motor doesn't last all summer with the new turbo and power adders. Also picked up a Cobb short shifter for a good price so I couldn't say no and threw that in too. Will update tonight with pictures of more progress.

+1 on Synapse, though mine is the Synchronic Diverter Valve, not the other one...

Yes I'm excited to hear it, that is if I can hear it over the rest of the car. But I wasn't paying attention when I bought it and they sent a stainless weld on flange for it so rather than buying an aluminum flange for it which was $28 I bought some 2.5" ID stainless pipe for $7 and made a new section of cold pipe and welded the SS flange they sent with it. Got it installed and now the intercooler setup is done. This is the first thing I've welded and made myself for my car, it isn't pretty but I made it and I'm proud of it. I welded bead rolls onto each side too.

Then yesterday I got some stuff back from the Powdercoaters. Took a while but he got the color right this time and I love it.
Its illusion blue and the first stage which is color goes on and looks like this:

Then after the clear vision top coat gets put on the purple and blue come out:

Then some pictures of it on the car with shitty lighting in the barn:

Hoping to have the engine bay done tonight and have it all wrapped up. I'm going to be putting a DP together and getting it all ready to take to school and weld up. Then it can essentially start. Just need a start up tune from Mark Gibson and then she will be ready to rock
