TL;DR - Took my 6 to the store, turned it off for 10 minutes while I was inside, came back out, and it started hitting 21.99PSI for a couple minutes before it calmed down to ~14PSI. Why would it do this? You'll find the Accessport log attached.
The vehicle has been tuned for ~330 horsepower by the previous owner. I'm not sure what kind of boost pressure is required for that, but I've never really felt like it was hitting 340 except when I was experiencing some MAF sensor issues early this year and kept hitting fuel cut. This morning though, I get in the car to get some salt for my driveway. The car drove and felt normal on the way there. I get to my destination, and leave the vehicle in the parking lot, off, for about ten minutes. When I got back in and pulled onto the street, the car felt immediately different. The turbo sounded different, the throttle responded differently, and there was absolutely more power. So much so, that at a light, I plugged in the Accessport module to figure out what was going on. I immediately hit log record once plugged in, and was surprised to see that in the brief time the Accessport was plugged in, the car was hitting 21 PSI without my even dipping into the throttle more than half way. I tried a full pull from a stop at the next light, and oh my god, it felt incredible. Where has this been?!?
Then, about two minutes after starting the car, and getting a couple pulls with wild power, the ECU regained its more stately composure, and became its boring old self again, unable to breach ~15PSI. What gives? Why would the car start off feeling incredible, and how do I get back to that? Further, why would it revert to what feels like a different tune while I was driving? Nothing in the log is indicative of any issues. Knock retard kicked in a couple times, but it was acceptable.
There are no Check Engine Lights on, no indications that anything has changed with the ECU tune, I haven't reflashed it or anything. Why did this change, and how do I get it back?
Modifications: Corksport HPFP, Accessport tuned to ~330HP, Cobb Cold Air Intake.
