New 4” intake

Honestly I feel like all the speed 6 owners going to a 4" intake would be ready to make those changes to make the intake fit
My thought, as well. Anyone making sufficient power to utilize a 4" intake should be more than capable of making some minor tweaks for fitment.

So, mine was received today. Overall high quality. I like the krinkle black paint job. I do have two nitpicks to make:
1. It has an NPT to hose barb fitting for the vaccuum. Which is fine. But, the fitting that was provided is brass and the tube is aluminum. If I'm not mistaken, mixing aluminum and brass threads can gall I believe. I could be mistaken but I think that is true. I think the fitting should be aluminum or nylon. It doesn't even look like they used any teflon tape or thread compound on the brass fitting. I will replace it with an aluminum fitting.
2. There is a breather connection of aluminum pipe about 1.5" long welded to the top of the pipe near the bung for the vacuum. I'm pretty sure most people are going to run without a breather connection. No plug was included. So, I'll have to fashion some kind of plug for that breather tube. It should have just been another bung. A little bigger one of course. But just another bung with a nylon or aluminum plug. Thus, if you did want the breather, put an NPT to hose barb fitting and if not use the plug.

I'd wager that more people going fully built are running that breather to the VC than are still running a recirc bpv. ¯\_(?)_/¯
Anyway just stick a vac cap on it, it's not even a big deal.

I don't recirc my bpv and until recently ran the valve cover to the htp intake without any issues. I do like that htp offers bungs so you can change the fitting to block it off if desired. I have never seen issues with brass on aluminum, the jmf intake manifold comes with all brass fittings.

Of course it is always nice to see vendors support the MS6 platform. But at the same time, to be honest, I can't imagine you selling all that many and not entirely certain it will be profitable to spend the time to develop and test it.
As far as mine, well, I STILL don't have my car back. It has been at my shop for literally over 2 months. The latest holdup is some wiring issue. Hopefully that is the last issue before I can pick it up. And when I do, I will post pictures in this thread.

I still don't have my car back, going on 3 months now. But, it is finally nearing completion. The shop says they have the engine running and almost ready to go. They finally sent me at least a picture. It is a 6, obviously. And the Corksport 4" intake seems like it fits fine. They said there is one minor thing left to do, and that is, I have an aftermarket radiator that is thicker than the stock radiator. If you have that radiator, and the JMF intake manifold, the stock coolant overflow doesn't fit. So, they will put in a generic overflow tank and relocate it. You may notice I relocated the battery. Before I relocated it, I bought a HTP group 51 battery tray. I should have relocated the battery to begin with. So, that HTP tray does nothing but a mounting place for a positive terminal block. I think the group 51 battery would still fit, so that would still be one option with the 4" intake. But I think it even better to put it in the trunk.

Most MS6s need some wiring fixed at this point anyways. May have to put this on my wish list.
