Not new to the platform by any means but I am having a hard time finding a solid answer in regard to upgraded axles.

This portion is all background information

My '13 speed3 is CST4 turbo. Plus, of course, a whole plethora of other mods, and tuned by Freektune.
haven't been on a dyno so feel free to toss out you own estimate of power numbers.
I've taken bus lengths on stinger GTs from 40, 60, and 80 rolls. (I'm from Canada so I'm all metric)
Also dead even with a friend's 450AWHP fully built ST block focus RS.

Car is chewing axles, not snapping them, but they get really clicky really fast, I've read that suspension has affected peoples axles due to angle, so I'm on BC Racing BR series Coilovers.

I've read that people are running stock axles for 600 Wheel track runs on slicks, then I've read that people are blowing upgraded axles at 350 wheel.

I should add that I have assessed/inspected wheel bearings and they are fine.

Here's the main point
So my question(s) is/are; What is the reason for blowing axles both on and off the strip, with both slicks and street tires, preloading drivetrain, brake boosting, etc.
Mostly, to upgrade or to not upgrade?

Last time I saw a car with clicking issues that happened in line with vehicle speed the pinion was missing most of a tooth.

What kind of camber are you running? Is it really negative like more than 2-2.5°
 
Is 2 degrees a lot of camber really? I was planning between 1.5-2 and didn't know how bad my tire would wear at that camber lol

It varies from car to car. Too much negative camber can strain the outer joint of a CV shaft on a FWD car. Could be why the axles wear out so fast if it is lowered. I run -1.5 front and -1.8 rear in the Miata unless I'm tracking it then I drop it to -2.5 front and -2.0 rear.

Not meaning to thread jack but does -1.5 and -1.8 show much uneven tire wear really?

Definitely not more than 2 degrees camber, Car just had an alignment done, they didn't tell me what it was at but they said " one degree of camber can still affect tread wear" which I thought was an obvious statement, but what do I know, I'm the idiot with clicking axles all the time lol
