Opinions wanted on new suspension set up

Aww man, I just bought a set of coilovers yesterday. Dang, lol.

LOL, now I'm really sad I'm not getting them. haha
It was only fitting after almost losing a dick cutting the spring perches off.

Plus it's local. Worst case I can pick it up for you if you're interested so it can live in my garage for another 6 months.

Well, I received the ST Coilovers today but unfortunately they are the wrong part number.
The part number for the MS3 is 13275019. They sent me 13275018 which is for the normal MZ3.
I'm pretty sure the MS3 coilovers have higher spring rate on the front springs due to the extra weight the MS3 has over the MZ3.
How big a deal is this?

Do you have any specs on the mz3 coils you received?

Yeah, for sure. I've spoke to the vendor and they're going to straighten things out. I don't know though, I have my doubts with this company.
I probably should of just gone with the Ground Control Coilovers from @kennyfish lol.
I just bought ISC track coils for my Mustang. Hopefully I don't regret it. @kennyfish bought ISCs for his Speed so hopefully we both have good things from them.

I hope you guys do end up liking them too. I'm sure the ST Coilover are good as well. I'm more worried about the vendor I bought the coilovers from more than anything. I have a feeling there's going to be more issues before this is all set and done.

RPM always did me right, Donny was always a pleasure to work with. Edge is great too.

I haven't used RPM yet. I usually get my stuff from Edge Autosport, they've always been great. This time around though, I made a hasty decision and went with a vendor I've never used before because I was told that they had one set of they coilovers left but it turned out to be the wrong kind, lol. Oh well... let's see if they can make this right.

I’m happy with the switch. Now that they have settled the ride is decent even in Corbeaus

ISCs are in, need to dial back from full stiff, that don't ride so well. Downside is you need to raise the wheel you want to adjust. Hopefully it will pay dividends next week racing.

Damn that's one good looking Roush! :icon12:
These Mustangs just look so sexy and sound awesome. I bet it will handle like a go-cart with your new setup.

Quick update!

I finally got it the right ST X coilovers for the MS3! I can't wait to install these things. Perhaps this upcoming Memorial Day weekend will be a good time to do it, if I'm not too busy.
I'm also going to get some new front endlinks. These coilovers take the stock size endlinks so technically I can reuse my current stock endlinks, but... like how my original rear endlinks were super worn out... I might as well get some new ones up front to keep things fresh.

Let me know if there's anything else I should lookout for before install.

Thanks! :headbang:

Alright! :D

I installed the coilovers over the weekend. It was a fairly easy install and went pretty smooth. Even getting the stock struts out of the knuckle wasn't too bad using the quarter trick and the spare tire jack trick. After that, everything went smooth. I got the fronts dialed in more or less but it was getting late so I just installed the rears and will dial those in later. As you can see in the side pic of my car, post install, the rears are sitting a bit high. After about a 1000 miles or so I'll re-adjust them to make sure they are where I want them to be.

Anyway, It was a super busy weekend and I didn't have time to take her out for a spin through the canyons but so far so good. Big thanks to @gotovato for suggesting these bad boys. The quality looks great and for a very fair price.

hopefully you like how they feel in the canyons!
I'm sure these are a big improvement over the stock stuff. So long as they are a bit stiffer I'm sure I'll love how they feel up in the canyons.
What little I've driven them so far, they feel real good but I'b been driving very nice and easy. Once everything get's settle in, then I'll be able to really feel them out.

you should like them, theyre stiffer then stock, but theyll be perfect for daily use(not too stiff/hardcore). theyre a good street coil that can be pushed decently. i think theyll be perfect for what you were looking for.
