Looks like a solid list. Looking forward to what comes of it. If I were you I'd definitely spend the extra money for head studs as that s257 is more than capable to go beyond what stock head bolts can hold. It's a very fun turbo, my old roommate has one on his cobalt and it moves pretty good even on low boost. You should definitely figure out what a/r housing you've got, I wouldn't go above the 0.82 as it'll really kill spool.
Lulz, it'll be a while!inb4 kiwi takes #1 on the dyno list
Yeah I'm thinking over my life choices now lmao! I know I only want 450-475 out of this set up. But.. you know how that goes..
What cams are you going with??
It’s a BW S257. I think it’s comparable to a gtx3076 size. As of right now, Im planning to keep the stock valve trains lol.Which bw turdo is that? Upgrade the valve springs and Rev that sucker out
It'll still boogie on stock valvetrain and you'll be good to wind it out to 7500. Just be sure that all valve springs are still within spec.
I've got a few sets laying around, if you need any just lemme know and they're yours for whatever shipping costs.
