Raider's Neverending love/hate with Christine

Today's mood. No airbags, we die like men.

The ol' exploding dick light
My car is being a dick. Shop is checking that out, and the cold start bearing growling sound I got. Probably a pump going.

Clockspring took a massive shit on the ohm level. And sold start growl is not happening, so not sure what fell off.

Are you speaking chinese?

Or is the clockspring about your airbags?

Did that corksport steering wheel have anything to do with it?

Also, the perches that I bought off BioBandit came in today. We can play with aftermarket springs and give your car a Brazilian butt lift.

Nope, oem part just wore out. Wiring that works when turning the wheel left and right. High mile issues.

Looking at a possible daily tomorrow

There's been a lot of booty on those. Actual just two cars, but I'm sure you'll give them some good pimpin'.

My engine has been happier with this Motul, than with the old Amsoil stuff I used to use.

Engine is a little quieter, and cams/head were cleaner.

Just switched to Motul and really surprised how quiet the car is. Seemed to fire up quicker too. Good lord the 5w40 wasn’t pricy. This may be my farewell to Brotella. Went with 5w30 but will be switching to 5w40 next oil change.

Back on the road. Airbag works, and the oil is loving brotella at 7k miles, with 1/2 quart or so added.

My work is offering 100 bucks a month to lease a 3,so I am pondering a stupid deal offered for a 2019 3 sedan Preferred trim.

@macdiesel

I'm glad you like it so far.

My first experience with Motul was with a Nator brethren, who ran an e85 mix. He was bolted up and occasionally did AutoX. He had Blackstone test a sample at 9k. They said the oil was in great shape and could be used on his engine for up to 15k. That made me a believer. Last I spoke to him, his engine was still running strong 4 years later.

My work was offering a deal so low for me to get a 20k mile a year lease, it made sense. Christine is retiring from commuter duty at 156,700 miles. Got a 2019 Mazda Mazda3 Select in Machine Gray. All the safety, and a little more room. #hoarding

But did your friend ever take it up to 15k?

I think the highest mileage he ever felt comfortable with after that initial report was maybe 12k or 13k. He changed it earlier just as a good measure.

Cant blame him honestly, sometimes the OCD in me wants to do 3k mile interval changes again eventhough I always use synthetic oil.

Congrats dude. If you got anywhere near $100 for a 20k/yr that's freaking fantastic. Same as what I was doing before the cx5. The Cruze was less than $250/mo including insurance, fuel, everything. And the 6 is no doubt a MUCH better car, much like the cx5. Still lovin' it big time.

If I may ask, what sold you on the car? IF you hadn't worked at mazda, what would you have considered as well? :P

Driving it sold me into consideration. Pricing and incentives made it a no Brainerd. What I put in premium gas and repairs is more than the lease basically.
