Are ARP ok for main bolts or are there other choices besides oem?

That all depends on your goals. There are a lot of people out there running OEM main bolts on big power builds but in my opinion, a little extra insurance never hurt anybody so I went with the ARP mains.

I'd stick with oem as well for that.

Not at all, oem is just fine.
