I was trying to decide whether to resurface the dual-mass flywheel or to get a new one. I read repeatedly about not resurfacing DMFs but the machine shop dude said he’d do it and thought it would be fine. Eventually I saw this post:

And so I decided to save money and do it. I know the concern is at least partially because of the springs. Mine has a little more rotation and tilt than a video I saw on YouTube of a new Mazdaspeed one. Hopefully I won’t regret it
He did a good job I think.
