Ride height of b16 coilovers

So I recently installed a full set of b16 coils on the car and I’m unsure why the height is as high as it is. The car was previously on swift springs and sat lower than it is currently. Attached a video showing proper installation and max low of coil adjuster.

I'm on 235/45r18 though so I have more tire

Could be different spring rates than your previous springs.

Your springs may settle a little after a few miles of driving.

You may have also bound the suspension bushings at an awkward angle, if you torqued them down with the car in the air at full droop. If that is the case...

Put the car on ramps, re-loosen whatever bushings you loosened when you installed the new coilovers. Open your hatch, sit in your trunk, and bounce the suspension a few times. Then get back under the car and torque all the loose bushings.

I’ve driven a ton and I did have it in the air but I simply removed the Lower control arm bolt from the knuckle on both sides and used a pry bar to pull down. Set both springs in the. Used a pole jack to install. Ensuring all isolators and stuff sat properly. Maybe something’s binding I do know that tightening while in air can cause issues as suspension was my main area as a tech. I think once the wheels get here and I have to install them I will loosen the main bolts. But the alignment. Is dead on I am running near 0 rear camber as well.

Don't look at the side I'm missing the side skirt. I should have taken a picture from the other side

It's a little hard to tell from your video. Can you take a photo of the front coilover springs, and then a photo of the rears, as they're installed?

It’s currently in a shop getting front wheel bearings as I decided I didn’t feel like cussing today lol. I’ll nap one when it’s done!

The wheels fit with no issue !
Wheels specs: 18x8.5 +38 offset
Tires: 235-40-18

You didnt lower the rear...the perch is all the way on the highest position.

Oh sorry. We're the Swift springs paired with OEM struts?

Did the Swift springs look much thinner compared to the Bilstein springs?

Not really no the swift were bigger so idk why it didn’t lower. I’ve looked and looked and have no answer as to why it’s not slammed.

can you send a pic of the rear suspension as it is?

What strut were you using the rear Swift springs with?

With my KW V3 kidney destroyers, I can get the rear down just past the tire.
