Got a lot done in 5.5 hours tonight. A buddy of mine is slowly returning his built 6266 car to a bolt on setup to sell the car, and sold me his tr1235, crash bar and 6th port w/ 325lph itfp for cash and my Cobb front mount, stock itfp, and Un touched crash bar. Got up to a friend's shop, ripped my meth kit out then Swapped everything over to my car. All that I need to really do is put the homemade mesh grill in on the bumper in the newly found opening, clean up/hide the wiring for the split second controller, and retune. Not really shooting for much more power than I had, but I got sick of having to fill up an E mix + Meth, and the Cobb core struggled at 35psi, so this should be a bit more efficient.

Right now there's 1000cc injectors in the 6th port, but if Mark deems necessary; I have two 2200's that can go in once I have the patience to wire again (I Fucking hate wiring shit!)

Pics!

Sucked it up and went back up to my buddies shop tonight to pull the fog light housings off my bumper so the cold side piping would allow the bumper to sit as it should and not push it out. Ended up swapping over the Bosch 2200cc injectors to the 6th port as well, which was quite an adventure as I had two sets of top hats for them (one worked fine with the kozmic injector holder, the other meant for our NATOR OH 6th port that uses a different holder). Wired in the pigtails and everything is good to go there now!

What are you doing with the fog lights then?

Not an update but something that popped in my head today that made me happy

I bought my ms3 in August 2012 with 25k miles, retired it from daily driving October 2016 with 214k, and it currently sits at 216k(and I probably won't be able to drive it due to the weather here all of February). I've put almost 11k on my mz3 since that time and have saved more money on fuel and repairs/maintenance in those few months than I ever was able to, driving the speed as much as I did. Lol.

DDing a hobby car gets tiresome as money gets split between mods and maintenance.

Welp, with the weather getting randomly better this week, I pulled the speed out for the first time since the 6th port install, had Mark load up a split second map and switched to 50/50 e85/93 mix in the tank to get the ball rolling on the tuning. The 6th port is spraying as it should, so time to make some powa!

Took the speed up to my buddy's shop tonight to use his boost leak tester and have him drill holes in my bumper for the quick latch fix since my bumper tabs are broken and I'm too terrified to drill holes in my own bumper lol.

Found a leak immediately at the maf... The oring was torn. Replaced that and found the short vacuum line going from my tial Q which is mounted on my hotside piping to the manifold was leaking and fixed that. After no more leaks were apparent, we smoke rested it for the hell of it.

Got the bumper quick latches all done. My car is filthy right now, so don't mind the poopy closeup shots

The corners of the bumper don't stick out!

More updates to come soon!

Welp, car season is put on hold. Got revision 2 loaded and took the speed out yesterday to work since it was 55* outside and decent logging weather.

Went wot in 4th to log and rpm just shot up without speed increasing (slipping clutch)

Got under the car and see oil dripping out through the bottom of the trans. Rear main seal is toast.

So car will be down for a bit while i gather monies and parts to replace the rear main, the clutch disc, do a balance shaft delete and baffle, and a few other odds and ends while it's apart.

Here's the slipping clutch log

Maybe I'll have my car back before you get yours fixed. I want another race btw.

Some progress finally being made.

Ordered some stuff from edgeautosport.com. All that is left is to order the gasket/oring for my new oil pickup tube, pick up the rear main seal from @etipp98 (and possibly a koyo Rad as well), get 2 more quarts of Brad Penn 10w40, 3 qt gear oil, coolant and a new 6 puck disc from ACT and the work can begin!

Got a bunch of the stuff needed to get the car back on the road today. Just need to go to summit racing tomorrow and pick up the clutch disc for the 6 puck ($157), 2 more quarts of Brad Penn 10w40, and then head to Walmart and get coolant. My order of Torco RTF and the oil pickup tubr and seal for it should be arriving tomorrow at my place! Then, just need to drop the car off to my friend, Kevin and let him do his thing!

This is with a PNP vtcs deleted manifold correct? and whats your 6th port set up?

My clutch was slipping, so that vdyno is totally inaccurate (not sure if you realized that lol... The car is really in the 500hp range).

But yes, PnP and vtcs delete on mani. 6th port has two Bosch 2200cc injectors with aeromotive stealth 325 itfp. Nothing fancy
