Dude tell me about it. I can't believe they did this after all these years. Fuck them. They aren't getting any of my money.

I shipped the sample on Wednesday the 5th. They received it after 5pm Friday the 7th,and i got the report yesterday around 530pm
Your 2618s results inspire me. Heck, I'd be happy with the same on my 4032s. I wish I could quantify exactly how the service life is supposed to be extended on the 4032s (i.e., 1.5x as long, 2x as long, etc.), but I realize there are SO many influential factors, not just the machining, assembly, and break-in, but also my driving habits. Regardless, seeing you at 50k+ on your pistons and still going very strong with your build with your compression and UOA is inspiring!

Honestly i think a lot of it has to do with how I treat the car. Im quite anal about certain things.

I bypass the high rev cold start as much as possible. Dont drive the car til coolant temp is 140 (tune pulls timing below that), make sure car is driven at full temp for 10 min before shutting off, last mile befkre shutting off is taken very easy or i let the car idle for a min before shutting off, regular oil changes and what not. I do beat the fuck out of it, at every opportunity i get though lol. A lot of it is probably luck as well.

Had a cookout/meet for the northeast Ohio crew last night. Been a while since we've done one, but we had a good turnout.

Also, my friend sent over some pics he took of my car earlier this week. Attached is my favorite one.

Finally completed the Damond Mount Threesome on Monday. Pulled the oem pmm and replaced with a black/red damond mount. Vibes at idle are ridiculous, but I'm sure it'll settle down after a bit. Otherwise it's already quieter than the CS and JBR ones I had tried before.

Last night I replaced the hose coming from my valve cover to my vented can. Noticed the old one was very close to the ewg and melting it. So got a new piece and made sure to leave as little slack in the line as possible to keep it away from the ewg.0728171123c.jpg

We'll see what's next. I shoulda removed the ac lines when I had the motor out, but didn't think about it til the motor was already back in with the front clip back on. Maybe that'll be next.

I've just read through your entire build post and wow what a journey. Very nice to read what you've done to your speed. My 2012 is still stock but builds like this keeps me motivated.
