SPEED 3 awd conversion

There is room where its not needed and no room where its needed if that makes sense. the lowest point is the 2 bolt flange. I may just have to cut that out and put a piece of flex or straight pipe there instead, which will give me another inch but hey anything at this point helps.
Baby steps, can always work on the exhaust later. Looks like it will work well for now.

I have some leftovers of this fuel hose and some fittings and was wondering if anyone would want to run one of these?
it replaces the factory fuel inlet hose with the blue clips that always breaks (from low pressure steel fuel tube on firewall to HPFP inlet). I have enough material to make roughly 10 of these. if this seems like something that I should make more of that can also happen. this should be a permanent fix to these crappy fuel hoses and look %100 better.

So its been a while, I took a break for a minute. I have been just non stop working on the car every weekend. But GOOD news, I have been putting miles on the car and other than "random" coolant temps and what seems to be a "non-existent" axle seal its doing good. I still have a wobbly rear end but I have yet to get it aligned.

The coolant temps WHILE driving have ranged anywhere from 156-230, that's got me concerned. the fan does not work anymore so I wired it to a toggle switch and will just manually control it for now. I believe that the fan control module just died. the thermostat is due for replacement and since the coolant tank cap is cheap I may as well replace that too.

I'm still having wastegate/EBCS issues but I'm leaning towards the actual wastegate. I have noticed that it has an adjustable arm so maybe I need to adjust that? I can cruise the car no problem but when trying to go WOT it will just make "all" the boost/psi then it will just hit the ol brick wall. I will further investigate one more time before picking the tuners ear again, I was told that its most likely improper routed hoses which have been fixed after contacting Corksport and my tuner aka Freektune. I almost want to say that the internal flap is coming in contact with the DP flange but I'm not %100 on that, almost seems impossible but something I thought about. maybe I need to ditch the internal WG and just get a EWG setup. I have been holding onto a flange to make a turbo manifold so maybe the times now to start making one.

Lastly I will be pulling the motor out to replace the axle seals as well as toss in the speed performance T-case bearing caps. I'm going to take it slow this time and refresh everything and anything I can and make it look neat this time around.
I'm going to be making actual wiring harness' for all the wiring I have added to the car to make it easier to work with and retain a more oem feel. if no one has noticed I'm trying to retain as much of a oem look and feel as I can, I cant guarantee %100 but close to it

Also I have been looking for a cheap Volvo gas tank to start exploring ideas under the car for the gas tank, will keep you updated on that. possibly a speed 6 tank if it comes to it.

Man.... I feel like this is the never ending project, But progress is always being made here. so it took nearly a month to receive my axle seal from the dealer, what a joke. while I was waiting I have been busy tending to the issues I've been having with the car, like cooling, and the boost issue. I also decided now's a good time to give the whole engine and engine bay a scrub and deep cleaning, turns out that the steering rack isn't made out of clumps of grease but actually aluminum :grimacing:.

This weekend I plan to push and get it back together again.

Let me know what you guys think about this log.
long story short, at WOT (doesn't matter what gear) around 4k rpms it just goes WAHHHH-pop-pop-pop-pop and doesn't accelerate anymore. kinda like some rolling antilag minus the GO or 2-step sorta thing. I looked at the log and the accelerator pedal position seems off to be at WOT, so I'm thinking I have a TB issue, but before I start being stupid and pulling stuff apart I thought id get some opinions.

But for everyone following, the cars nearly there. worked out the kinks and am dealing with this last issue. hopefully no more issues show up before then.

With vehicle speed not registering its likely limiting you to whatever launch control rpm is set in the tune. Raise it to match the rev limit and you should be able to pull past 4k
My buddy said he is having this issue after just installing his new AP. What is the fix for this? I am going to assume his mph isn't registering either as whatever the launch control is set at is his rev limit.

alright guys, so I took the car out last weekend and it was ripping, no hiccups or anything. I come back this weekend to get yall a video and well you can see for yourselves.

it seems fuel psi is dropping mid pull (400-700 psi). my guess is that the fuel psi regulator is just not enough to keep up with demands at high boost/rpm. may have to look into a high pressure regulator. my other thought is that the power draw on the system is just too much for the alternator to keep up with, not letting the pumps work at full potential or am I just overthinking it?

anyways ill keep chipping at it. it just seems to be these little gremlins every week I swear, but ill get there eventually.

Do you have a video where you launch it?

So lets jump back into it sorta, I did figure out the fuel issue. way overlooked but the fuel filters were clogged from the first set of fuel lines I had made. all the little rubber bits inside the hose clogged the screens. pulled them apart and cleaned out with some brake clean, GOOD AS NEW.
I also have a good idea why vehicle speed isn't working, the abs sensor was/is hanging on by a thread on the front right wheel. gonna get a new sensor and see what happens.

Other than that I have been slacking not doing much to the car. it'll get done eventually maybe? I'm more or less just waiting for the warmer weather though.
