Ticking noise, wanted second opinion. Serpentine belt area

I have almost the similar noise and I know for a fact my idler pulley is bad because when I put my stethoscope to that top pulley next to the valve cover, that thing sounds like soundpaper being dragged on the highway at 60mph. Almost sounds like a bad clutch release bearing. But the tensioners go out quite frequently from what I've seen also. Honestly if you are doing one or the other I would suggest doing both if you can afford it. I think Mazda wants like $150 for that idler though.

Really wish I could find that duralast one here in Canada, may have to get someone to send me one.
