Total MPS AWD

I'd like to know how much a speed 3 would weigh after adding all this weight.

3150 stock for a genwon, 3245 for a pu. Add 300lbs of hardware. Boom speed 6 country

Exactly! Now of course you could take out back seats and all that nonsense but that is definitely getting up there in weight.

I was planning on doing this next but didn't think it would be that much. Not sure if I want to dump another 15k into the speed3.

Plot twist: All CDR parts are made by chinese robots. I set up that forum for them to blow off steam, but now they just post on the forum instead of making parts. Fucking robots.

Back in 2012 when I got my Speed, it came with a Sure RMM, way before I knew all that I now know about SURE. I've since had a JBR 88 dogbone, and now the illustrious DM RMM :D

Genpoo + 16k = craigslist for an EVO or STi...IF you still need/want a compact.

Screw ruining the resale value of the car I already bought to gamble with a shade-tree company. Not when an EVO9 MR costs under what the swap would run me.

But AWD skids in an MS3, tho. Besides, you'd surprise the crap out of many people. Not for the average guy, I realize; the price is prohibitive. But I'd MUCH rather have a rare AWD MS3 than an EVO or STI any day...

The problem I have with going awd is not due to mps rep because if I did it it will be done right here in Florida and it would be done right. I am more concerned with the awd not holding 500lbs of TQ. I don't want to spend all that money and can't put the power down due to shit breaking.

Few thousand more and you have a Evo 8 with AWD at 3,000lbs, Brembos front and rear, 4g63t mod support (Honda level of aftermarket) and TRE/Shep/Jacks/Boostin Performance/Buschur available to build a drivetrain that can handle 1,000whp+.. The MS6 AWD system is over-engineered, not supported (beyond t-case caps and mounts) and inferior according to most of the old data found on that other Mazdaspeed forum and has a module that controls the tq split that has to be rigged up to work for a swap, so if you want to use this on a road course it will understeer like hell just like the DG Motorsports one did.

And you have one of a million EVOs running around, instead of a very rare sleeper that surprises the crap out of people all the time. The higher power EVOs are like complete dogs around town under 5k rpms too. No thanks. EVO benefits aside, I'll take the MS6, especially its responsiveness.
