Turbo heat shield question

So yesterday i put a new downpipe and it didnt come with any spots to install the oem heat shields. Should i look into a turbo blanket and or heat taping my downpipe?

Nope it's fine as long as the firewall heat shield is intact. If you need a replacement I recommend this one
