What did you do to your ride today

This last weekend my ABS light and traction control light came on. I pulled over and read the code and it was a faulty front right wheel speed sensor, cool this should be easy. I got one ordered and went to install it on Monday, when got the car up in the air I noticed that the wheel had a concerning amount movement up and down. After some consultation with some friends, I decided it was a wheel bearing that had gone out that was leading to the wheels speed sensor reading the magnetic ring on the wheel bearing incorrectly. I then proceeded to spend all of yesterday morning installing a new one with a good friend. We made quick work of disassembling everything, our first major rode block was the snap ring. It being a Massachusetts car the snap ring was seized into the knuckle preventing any amount of substantial forward progression for about an hour and a half. We decided the best plan would be to cut the snap ring out which was an extravaganza in itself. The old bearing pressed out really easily. After inspecting the inside of the knuckle where the bearing sits for any obscure scoring marks, we began to put everything back together with the new parts. Everything was going smooth, until we both realized we had forgotten to add the new snap ring after we had pressed in the hub. Everything had to come apart, sadly the bearing came out in 2 pieces because part of it got stuck onto the wheel hub. The meant a new wheel bearing had to be sources, luckily O'Rellys had 2 in stock. After the purchase of another wheel bearing, it was smoothing sailing, and this time we ensured the snap ring was in.

All in all, it was a good 4 hours of wrenching and it fixed the problem. I'm now sitting pretty at 177,702 miles.

Spring cleaning! 124k km on the car, valves and injectors never touched so: Intake valve cleaning, hpfp rebuild, I Injector clean and flow test, overspeed Injector seals, majinspeed Injector stud kit, adapted performance intake manifold and TB gasket, clean TB, MAF /map sensor, cleaned intake manifold, cleaned out intercooler and straightened out the fins, new NGK 6510 gapped 0.027" with my maisonvi gapper tool, washed out intercooler tubes and intake, new PCV valve.

Still to do: oil change, replace rear strut mounts and endlinks, drop front and rear bumper and fix the tabs then route block heater cable through the front bumper and put summer wheels on then give the car a spring detail and out, oh and install my stiffy AP mount.

Got everything buttoned up...turned keep...wouldn't catch, cool just prime more.

All of sudden hear fluid leaking...was pissing fuel from the rail everywhere. I sent her a little fucking hard bud!

Got some new rubber on the refreshed wheels. Went against the grain and got the Pirelli P Zero PZ4 Sports. Had to grab a quick pic before the rain started coming.

I replaced my CP-E 2 stage RMM with a Damond to complete the trilogy. The car is so much better now in all aspects. Vibration is significantly less and shifts are considerably smoother. I wish I would have done the swap a long time ago.
 
Got it moving under it's own power for the first time in 4 years.

Installed CS rear sway bar, really tightened up the car. Also installed Corksport solid shifter bushing - wow. Car's at 102k miles, and I honestly didn't think it'd make that big of a difference because the old rubber looked fine and was malleable / not dried out, but it feels a lot better.

CS short shifter and shift knob on the way, and buying a 2nd hand front sway bar, strut tower bar, and CS 4 point brace (discontinued) tomorrow evening. Also getting my wheels refinished next week from the stock silver to all black. They're gonna fix a few chips + some curb rash the previous owner left for me, only $125 per wheel for a complete turnover.

Corksport updated me on my turbo-back exhaust (well, really just the catted downpipe and the catback portion of the exhaust) and said October so...yeah. Gonna be waiting for a few months before I can actually buy a tune and get it a bit peppier. In the meantime, gonna finally get around to cleaning the valves, and at the same time, replace the throttle body gasket, do HPFP + o-ring full rebuild, replace the intake mani gasket, clean intake mani runners, replace the plugs, EGR blockoff + replace my PCV valve proactively, and install the front sway bar, strut tower bar, CS brace, and maybe buy the lower tie rod to REALLY tighten things up.

Question for those of you that have done it - is the VTCS delete a net good or bad or conditional? Thinking about doing it, but from reading I can't tell if it's worth it or if it's better to just wait until I can afford an aftermarket like one of the ST mani kits from Damond and go FMIC...so many choices.

Im in the middle of porting a stock manifold for VTCS delete. For the time and effort just do a ST manifold. The ST has better flow than a ported stock one anyways. Im at the point of finishing this ported one, installing it, seeing how it does to make sure there are no issues then reselling it and going ST because thats how tedious it is porting a manifold.

xD well, that answers that....now...that being said...."then reselling it" - first dibs on purchasing from you? :D
