What did you do to your ride today

Joined the RPF1 club today and couldn't be happier. These things are silly light and just beautiful. 17x9 et45

245/45r17 Hoosier DR on the front and an all season (I forget which) on the rear. Perfect street setup if you ask me :handok:

Finally started the arduous process of hand washing and full detailing of the paint before winter hit with salt and all the other crap on the road. Also swapped the OE TMIC back to ETS and flashed ECU now that autocross is done for the season. Now that it's cooler I should get busy and work on both tunes so the car runs spot on come spring.

I really need to do the detail prior to winter thing as well. Also changed oil today and looking at my records realized my plugs are 17k miles old, so those have got to go. Soon it will be time to Jack up the suspension and put the snows on

Did the GM cylinder cleaning over the weekend in hopes of regaining some compression, no luck, cylinders 2 and 3 are still diminished :( Engine rebuild in my future oh well.

Replaced front brake pads to Hawk HPS.

All with the help of @VTMongoose !!! I'm a newb and john knows all

I did this today, too bad it will just be pointing my mushy snow tires around for the next three months.

Finished claying the car. I hope I have time tomorrow to compound it and get it ready for wax before I travel for the week.

Got the winters on, and a fresh air filter. Now all that's left is take the roof rack off and get one more good wax in before snow.

Got all of the wiring and tubing squared away on my boost gauge. I went with larger tubing from the BPV line to the boost sensor than what was provided with the gauge. Since the clamps wouldn't be tight enough to hold I slid a portion of the clear tubing onto both ends of the filter and the sending unit. I then cut the clear tubing flush with the opening. The new silicone slipped over pretty tight and the clamps are holding great now. I drilled a hole in the side of my battery box and inserted a small rubber grommet that allows the sending unit to rotate if i need to unplug it for box removal. I used a shortened screw and nut from a computer case fan to tie it all together. I still need to run the illumination wire so the gauge will change color when the lights are on. When my oil sandwich plate gets here I'll hook up the oil pressure gauge.

Picked my car up from the shop today.

Anyone else experience the front LCA bolt rusting/seizing to the steel sleeve inside the inner-front bushing? I got to deal with that fun little adventure (or so I thought?*) while trying to install a CS lower tie bar; eventually had to take it in because I just don't have the proper tools, space or experience to deal with that shit. Most expensive $120 mod I've ever done.

*The shop tells me that the bigger/actual problem was that the nut that's hard-welded to the subframe at the backside of the bushing (where the bolt threads into) had apparently broken free and was just spinning. They had to do a c-section to re-weld the nut and then button everything back up.

Whilst giving myself another headache reattaching my CP-E downpipe to my turbo for the 3 millionth time, it occurred to me that I should make a PSA for people thinking about buying one of these.

Took my roof rack off and gave the car a bath. Going to clay and wax tomorrow. Then it's ready for winter.

Well I guess CPE is of my list then. I've been debating which down pipe to get.
