XS Power exhaust manifold leak

Hey team,

For those with an XS power exhaust manifold, have you guys experienced leaks? Mostly from the ewg v clamp and the exhaust flange. Apparently you can't just tighten the v clamp and you need to get it machined? Just looking for input, thank you

I am running that manifold and dont really have much of a leak there. You don't have to get it machined. What you can do is get some valve lapping compound, put some on the manifold side, then loosen the clamp so you can rotate the EWG back and forth. The compound will take away any imperfections and match the wastegate to the manifold. Do the same with the spring seat as well. Make sure to wipe the surface clean after you're done.

Yes mine is leaking from the ewg v clamp as well. Swapping in a CS exhaust manifold asap.

Yes, these manifolds are known to leak.

If you search around, you will find tales of leaks at the head and turbo flange as well.
