08 speed3 not building clutch pressure

Hey guys,
First off I'd like to apologize if this forums is in the wrong thread.
My 08 speed lost clutch pressure one day as I was driving. so I took it home and started to go to work
So far I have replaced the master and the slave cylinder hoping that would solve my problem but sadly no.
When I bleed my clutch I get to the point where there is a heavy amount of pressure on the clutch pedals out position but as i go 70% of the way it loses pressure and sticks in. Ive gotten it to come out on its own once but after I push It In again after that, the same problem happens (pressure untill pushed all the way down then sticks last 15%) I had a guy come over and test it and he thinks air is getting into the line upon releasing the clutch. Any ideas? How can I test for air in the line? thanks!
 
First thing, Along the drivers front frame rail the hardline meets the clutch hose. Crack it there and bleed to that point. The short throw of the clutch master cant always push all the air to the slave. After you have bled to there, bleed the slave. Provided you have no luck there, time to check for a crack in the clutch pedal bracket. You might have to remove the bracket from the car to find it (I did).
 
I vaugly recall people talking about a revision to the slave cylinder meaning new ones don't seal with the old hardline property. It's right at the connection point. Check to see if you're leaking there. If you are I believe the fix was a new hardline as it has the new connection tip on it (part of the late gen2) I may be out to lunch on this.

Now when you're bleeding our brake res has a dual brake and clutch chamber but to get fluid to the clutch side you need to over fill the brake reservoir then incest the clutch is bled suck some fluid put of the brake side to get appropriate level. so I wonder if in the final bleed you're pulling some air in if you're in it by careful, mention this as it's an issue before.

Since you checked slave and master check connections for leaks, clutch hard line could have also been cracked / rusted with age.
