10" Ported Box Build

I never would have thought that you were into the boom boom in your zoom zoom. If you are going the digital route have you looked into the PS8? Its a little pricey, but can do everything including OEM intergation. Assuming you still have the factory head unit.

Always been into the boom boom, was never going to go crazy in the speed since I wanted to put go fast parts on it but to make any real power on our platform it would be no where near smog legal and don't have time to deal with that headache.

I currently have a pioneer double-din, considered taking it out and running a Rockford 3sixty.3 with the stock head unit the ps8 is out of my budget unfortunately

We'll see but for now keeping the pioneer

I would love a fi 10, but i always want sq before spl. hoping to redo the entire system next year.
That and building sq ported enclosures is far beyond me lol

Decided to build a cardboard box with my new sub box dimensions to make sure it fits in the car before I build it...

Learned my lesson the hard way in the past haha, I'm off from 12/23/16-01/02/16 and plan on building my box during that time.

In addition just recently ordered a Northstar AGM, battery terminals, 1/0 OFC wire, lugs, and a bunch of other misc crap like connectors, e-z lok threaded inserts, etc...

Still need to pay off my Iraggi Alternator, have it on a payment plan since it was so damn expensive.

Not sure if it's helpful, but these guys sell heavy-duty marine-quality wire at good prices. This is the kind of stuff some folks go to when they want something a lot heavier-duty than fine-stranded audio cable. You can just contact them directly and they can do various lengths/gauges per your specs. Their phone is 424-263-5106:

Thanks for the recommendation but I already have all my wiring, lugs, battery terminals and battery on order

Making payments on my Iraggi alternator, damn thing cost $730 shipped and with the holidays and everything didn't have any money left in my budget to buy it out right

Here is the battery and terminals I bought:

Nice craftsmanship. I've always been a sealed box guy due to the flatter frequency response curve you get (I'm an SQ guy, not an SPL guy), but I can definitely appreciate the skillz this required.

Thanks! I've gotten better over the years always helps when you have the right tools and having access to my father in-laws bad ass table saw is a huge plus.

I ran out of time to cut the holes in my double baffle face hopefully get to it next weekend.

Just got my e-z lok threaded inserts, 10-24 socket cap screws, SMD speaker terminal last week and suppose to get my carpet this week.

Hardest part is going to find time to tear my car apart and install my door speakers, additional/new wiring

Got a little more work done on the box tonight, my e-z lok tool came in today so i got the threaded inserts installed for the sub, going to use stainless 10-24 socket cap screws.

Also got the 4-channel amp installed with rubber isolators and also used threaded inserts with 10-24 socket cap screws.

Still need to cut the hole on the 2nd front baffle and mount my sub amp.

Don't know where I'm going to put my power/ground distribution block since it's so damn big but I'll figure it out

Damn dude, box is looking great! Sorry if I missed this elsewhere earlier in the thread, but what do you estimate the final weight of this thing will be once it's all put together and ready to go into the car?
