So I went back to a 3-port configuration, but continued using the Cortex. The 4 port was just being too sensitive and was hurting my spool.
@JohnnyTightlips gave me the idea, I didn't know how much range was possible with a small spring on the inefficient CP-E manifold. So I put in a 10 PSI spring and just used my 4 port solenoid hooked up to the bottom wg port.
Got it pretty much dialed in over the last 4 hours. Also finally got a clean 4th gear log with zero spin for once.

I didn't make the background, it was randomly sent to me on Discord lol.
3rd Gear could use a bit of a touchup, but that'll be easy to correct. I have some RE71Rs on the way in the hope of maximizing traction without needing to really warmup the tires.
Also got some more 60-130 pulls in which felt way better than with the 4 port.

Lol, I just put tire size at 1000 to get the other pulls out of the graph54464WHP, that's gotta be a record.
Sorry to derail slightly. How has the high part throttle KR played out for you? Did you ever find out the problem? I'm at a very similar place with my new Overspeed Motor. Upwards of 8KR at low load. I'm starting to think it's excess mechanical noise from upgraded valvetrain and bsd. I can make it happen anytime I'm cruising by lifting off throttle and slowly applying pedal pressure. I'm looking at going with a 5558 as well. My s4v1 is still kicking though lol
No problem! I never narrowed down the issue to the point where I can say what it is. I've increased my knock sensor min load tables to the following and haven't had any further problems:

My KR behaves exactly the same way you are describing. My motor doesn't sound like it has piston slap or anything... My best guess is that its due to valve lash. I have a couple valves with about double the maximum tolerance on both intake and exhaust. The larger the lash the more impulse noise you have when the cam lobe makes contact, which the KR sensor would pickup. This is a complete guess, I have no way of knowing short of correcting the lash. I really don't feel like doing that.
The theory might breakdown because the KR goes away with increased load. We definitely don't have access to all of the KR tables and the low level routines the ECU does to detect knock, so its tough to say.
I do find it comforting that someone with an overspeed motor has the same issue... thanks for sharing lol.

I also edited my tables as I was sick of seeing random part throttle knock when I got done doing a pull and never knowing if it was real knock or part throttle from putting around before I got into WOT.Interesting to hear. That at least makes me stop worrying about it so much. We have very similar builds and think the 5558 is a big contender for my next turbo. I'm not sure my tuner will accept the request to mess with KR tables. He'll probably inform me to stop worrying about anything outside of WOT and he's 100% correct
Hello! Impressive gains! Would you mind revealing what kind of ignition timing changes you did there?Inching forward slowly but surely, revised timing a bit for quicker spool in 3rd gear, 4th gear spool region coming up next. I can't stop tinkering lol.
Moved the curve to the left about 350 rpm and added a good 70 ft-lbs down low.
