@Maisonvi made a splash shield for me but it would hit the chain. I tried to modify it so that it would clear but it was too sketchy. I recall reading about someone having a genwon compatible cap breather but not the splash shield bit.

The idea was to gain MORE clearance by grinding that section that sticks out down flush and welding the bung to that, but I guess the guy that did the welding forgot, so now it has less clearance than stock when using even an ultra tight radius 90 like this guy:
