So this has been my burden for the past few days, weeks etc..

long story short, i had to swap injectors, seals etc..

I put on anti-size on the injector bolts so it would be able to be taken off..

the oem were pretty rusty T40 bolts.. (need to get new bolt kit.. or figure something out)

one of the bolts was super hard to get on, I went easy and went forward-- then back--then forward
trying to ease it on.. I used a torque wrench at times as well.. well, that bolt finally just spun.. my guess it just complete stripped out the thread inside the block.

After i buttoned everything together, I took it for a test drive.. the car ran SUPER rough.. no knock at all on accessport.
anyway.. i did hear knocking sound.. and super rough idle..

I parked it, and heard a hissing sound.. the injector blue o ring was showing, so it must have blown the injector out of the hole. Bummer..

It was leaking fuel on the ground..

I understand i messed up.. It is my daily, so i need to figure something out with work ..

Questions.. how should i fix the injector hole that the bolt just spins in?

was the knocking sound.. (no KR on access port) mean the engine is shot?

thank you!

The knocking you heard was probably the combustion gasses blowing past the injector. The o-ring is probably fucked from the injector moving back and forth, but it's likely the injector and rail are fine. You will probably need to helicoil the hole, if that's even possible; that injector can NOT be allowed to move around for obvious reasons.

Best case, you coil it and replace the seal that's likely fucked. If that can't be done, the car needs a new cylinder head.

I appreciate the response..
The knocking was likely the injector bouncing back and forth.. and also an air moving sound. Which was the air likely escaping..

I could see the blue o ring so the gap was definitely there..

I pray it's okay..

@Easter Bunny , I think this or something like it is the way..

Have either of you coiled anything before? How hard is it to do well?

i have not, luckily for me anything that i have fucked the threads up on was low stress enough that some praying and careful threading saved the day. also most of my wrenching experience is on older american shit and cast iron dont strip
