How many posts per page y'all wanna see?

Are there additional thread display setting available? Specifically are there options to change the number of posts per page when viewing.

Pulled from another forum likely using an older version of VBulletin (version 3.8.6) but you get the idea.

It is possible to give that option, but it's known to cause issues with SEO and usability. @Raider and I will have to weigh the pros and cons.

Another option would be to increase the global posts per page count to something everyone agrees on.

40 is a nice happy medium. I normally do 50 but if it messes with SEO it's best not to go that many per page.

^^^ this would be awesome if possible. There is a lot of dead space on the page and maximizing the real estate would help.

One if the other forums I frequent (ih8mud.com) has the same narrow listing and it feels cramped.

And answering my own question: choosing "Default Style" in preferences makes it screen wide, but color theme is awfully light.

Should be a way of saying "up to X length". For normal, text-only posts I think as many as possible is ideal but it would be nice to limit it somehow for when people start with that longcat shit.
