Intake Manifold

As soon as i get this i need to make the tmic work. So instead of ordering a 180 from siliconeintakes.com i was thinking of reuseing the oem 90* and buying a additional 90* from them. A foot/foot and a half of aluminum pipe with a straight coupler should do it. As far as a bracket i was thinking mocking it up with aluminum then repeating with painted steel. The PSP idler bolts look promicing (gen 2)for a mounting point. I want to stay away from the mani as a load bearer since its plastic and the metal inserts are bound to it with more plastic. I still need to brain storm on the pass side support.

Any ideas?

just a sneak peek at what I'm doing with the manifold.

for any that care or want to know, I went to tamiya's website and ordered 2 cans of metallic blue under the polycarbonate section. I should have ordered 3 just for peace of mind though. I used an automotive primer first. 1 can. after the blue was out on I sprayed 2 cans of krylon automotive clear coat on it. once it dries with the clear I'll post the finished picture.

tl;dr: 1 can of primer first. about 3 coats. 2 cans of tamiya metallic blue. about 2 coats. 2 cans of krylon clear. about 10 or 15 coats.

So much rice
I like rice; it's tasty. I also like how the color appears close to Celestial Blue Mica. Offered only during 2010 and 2011, it is one of the rarest (and definitely the best) Speed colors ever, as seen in my avatar (now, anyways) :D
