I decided I needed another fun car to go along with my NC Miata, and my boyfriend's brother's friend was looking to sell his tastefully modded gen1 speed3. I drove down to take a look and a test drive, and the car decided to let a bearing go. Luckily, the NATOR guys had a spare bottom end to swap in, and I bought the car a week later.
Huge thanks to those guys (they're on here somewhere) for getting the car rebuilt. Anytime you're up in NoVA, beers are on me.
So far all I've done is a couple cosmetic things, but gauges are in the mail and I'm looking at shift kits. Driving a Miata has spoiled me for transmissions.
