New (to me) speed3 and a shoutout to NATOR guys

I decided I needed another fun car to go along with my NC Miata, and my boyfriend's brother's friend was looking to sell his tastefully modded gen1 speed3. I drove down to take a look and a test drive, and the car decided to let a bearing go. Luckily, the NATOR guys had a spare bottom end to swap in, and I bought the car a week later.

Huge thanks to those guys (they're on here somewhere) for getting the car rebuilt. Anytime you're up in NoVA, beers are on me.

So far all I've done is a couple cosmetic things, but gauges are in the mail and I'm looking at shift kits. Driving a Miata has spoiled me for transmissions.

Pretty sure it was @DISIFTW Ryan and @Rokusek Paul who knocked that out. Built by Nator, you got a sweet ride. Welcome!

Yup that was me, welcome to the forum. For gauges i would just start with the Accessport V3 and not worry about a short shift plate. If you want a short throw go with a twm replacment arm or full replacement shifter assembly.

I ended up getting DEFI boost and EGT gauges, and this weird Innovate motorsports dual oil pressure/temperature gauge. I put some JBR shift bushings on it and they made a crazy huge difference, I don't understand why Mazda sold these cars with rubber mounts, its not like the sold ones add any NVH. It still doesn't shift as good as the Miata, but the Miata doesn't go nearly this fast.

Welcome. I'm not familiar with the work on this car; is it already BT'd?
