Post ZZB Diaries CWP Gen1

It's just an idea that I've been playing with lately. Every time I see a car with a hood dump I just feel more and more like I need it! I would have to make some sort of cap for the hole so rain doesn't get in but it sure would be fun to have some fire coming out the hood.

Would ya just look at that! Didn't really make many changes but I hit the dyno the other day again.

I doubt I'll ever see much more peak WHP on this GT3582R, but I am very happy still with the power the setup is making. On the random warm days we've had this summer I've had to hold on real tight since I'm not used to it hooking very often anymore.

Soooooo close.... That hood dump, a bigger exhaust, or an extra psi and/or more timing outta do it!

Congrats on the solid numbers. Looks like a real solid build.

@Captain KR did you have billet caps in that tcase?

Will is never on here lol but yes he did, I think he had like v1 of the sp63 caps before they were publicly available or something. The failure he experienced was unrelated to the caps if I recall correctly.

Yea there's been a couple cases (lol punny) of cases with caps still going out. I'm debating testing a tcase at work on our rotary actuator to see what's actually failing.

That would be very interesting! I know his failed at about the 60' mark so it wasn't so much the launch that killed it, it was just the tq that motor was generating I suppose.

Car's still running strong, I drive whenever it's warm outside and it never fails to put a smile on my face still. With track season coming, I need to start saving for some coilovers so I can lift the car and get my slicks fitting nicely. Anybody have any favorite coils in the ~$1000 range? I know there's endless threads on it but hey, can't hurt to hear some recommendations. I'll probably also pick up the CorkSport lower tie bar as recommended by @Enki and @SharksInSpace and see how that tightens up the steering on meaty pulls.
