Seal is installed correct now. Keeping rotation kit off until I finish tuning and get it on the dyno.

You should not need it for the valve cover it is used where the timing cover meets the block. and where the HPFP cam cap meets the block.

Bending over to work on a car.

The rtv is where it comes from the factory even. 2 on the back on the top of the head near the cams then up near timing cover area. No biggie. I'm so ready to drive.

All seems to be well! did 3rd gear 3-5K, a pair of maf cals and idle logs for Will. Drives great overall. Will be getting the brakes and the clutch like pressure bled at work and an alignment once I get my revised map. Hopefully there are no issues!

Yessir. Rob has retired from tuning and I decided I needed to change.

The ride is very smooth. A lot like the CS before I abused them for 7 years haha.

Brakes are bled, alignment is set. But the hate continues. Old oil leak continues. Don't know where. But apparently it's there. All that has messed up the starter which will not always start. Will get solenoid click. So that is happening. Gonna look into a starter now. Then on the way home got a stupid CEL. Too tired to check it but damnit.

If starter isn't new. And want to try a experiment, use something... Hammer but access is tight so a long metal rod, give the starter a tap. Sometimes motor brushes get worn, stuck in holders. Or solenoid high current motor contacts get a oxide that won't allow current flow. Sadly our starters are buried... Mazda way

Yeah the hammer trick has been out a whole. It was caked in sludge when we took off the manifold. Sucks.

Naw. It will eventually fire up. I think all the gunk from the oil leak fucked it up. Gonna replace it I think. It's original.
