Finished the intake manifold connections. Want to get 2 Allen head bolts for the top part of the manifold for the dress kit eventually. OCC is connected, serpentine is on.
Pretty close overall. Fmic piping, battery. intake, plugs and map before startup. 1 to 2 more Sundays. Whew.

So close to fire up! Ended with battery back out along with the intake and egr removed. Gasket leaking. It's for regular 3 or some shit. Old parts department was dumb. Getting the proper one tomorrow.
Installed is the FMIC, all connections, basemap loaded and rear exhaust hanger on. Next week gasket, intake and battery in and fire up. Hoping for no exhaust leaks as the muffler shop did not put the extension on dead straight. I'll be putting on the wheels this week and clearing as much to be ready for fire up.

Well I have quick detailed her, new mazdaspeeds.org decal on the back glass too. And I Windexed the glass and gave her a vacuuming.
Big change occurred this week. I got with Will and getting Purple Drank tuned. Rob 8 will love forever. He has tuned me for like a decade and is OG. He quit officially tuning recently and I had some thinking on the plan. I think Will and I vibe well and now it's time to turn this beta cst4 into a 7 second car. May be in a mile but whatever. Some sauce not all of it tune. And yes, decals ordered.
Hopefully Sunday comes and Christine lives. If the exhaust leaks I'm probably shoving the exhaust up some welder's ass.
