So what's the plan for the stock motor? Are you seeing warning signs on the stock block or just wanting to up the ante since the motor came available?

Honestly I was planning a build but being in Canada it’s stupid expensive. This came up so I grabbed it as the deal was really good and the seller is well known around here for being a good dude and knowing his shit about the platform. My stock motor will sit as a spare or to be built in the future or sold or who knows? Swapped into a speed with a blown motor maybe if I buy another one lol. I was mainly looking for a little bit more low end, meaning stronger rods which I’ll have now, also looking for extra rpm which I’ll have after swapping the valve springs

Well...looks like it’s gonna be fucking beautiful this weekend. You better believe I’m swapping the RE’s back on and hitting the track saturday...or that’s my plan at least. My gloc R12 pads will be here tomorrow also. Better also believe those are getting installed ASAP.

Noice. Can’t wait to install these things and try em out ASAP. Will be good at the track Saturday
Gloc R12 pads. Same as I ran on my oem calipers. Loved them. Thanks to Damond for hooking me up with them on the quick!

So some buddies of mine have opened up a performance shop. Same guys I dealt with at the shop I bought my car from but now they’ve started their own shop. I stopped by yesterday to hangout and I bought wheels LOL. Buddy just gave me a too good to be true price on the set so I sent it. Now I have a week to decided which wheels I want. At first I was like oh damn polished lip, those POP but I do like the matte grey as a safe choice. I didnt make it to the track yesterday as my driver side control arm rear bushing is completely fucked. One of the welds on the piece that goes inside the bushing broke and that rear bushing is completely torn and all out of juice. Massive play. And yes I felt it in the wheel but wanted to send it anyways. I was advised against anymore sending it. New control arm and alk incoming.

Polished pops nicely I'm a big fan of subdued wheels especially on a red or black car, matte is probably better if they're going to be your track wheels for brake dust
