Can anyone tell me a way to verify the new oem long block I’m getting is actually what it’s suppose to be? Just wondering if there’s a difference in the speed3 and regular 3 long blocks so I can verify.

Yes, there’s a difference. The easiest way to tell the Speed3 block from the standard one is the Speed3 block has oil feed and return ports on the back of the block for the turbo. See the pic (ignore green tape, I was painting my block).

Awesome. Finally something has gone right with this car! Lol seems like I got a pretty decent deal too from what I’m seeing. Ended up getting it for $2500. That’s why I was skeptical, it seemed too cheap honestly since used motors were practically the same price. But looks like it’s legit.

Nah not this time. It’s my sons first car. He will have to settle for stock power for a while. Think I’ll save the old motor and him and I can tinker with it and maybe build something over time. But for now, we just want it back on the road. Besides I can’t have him driving a faster car than dads! Lol

faster car than dad haha
whered you get that block? I'm looking for one too

I just happened to see this yesterday. Not sure if it’s near enough to you or if it appeals to you though.
