Building for the road course...again

No front bar seems to have added some compliance up front. Something. More grip. Way I see it, more rear bar makes the car more loose, more front bar usually tightens it up, adds understeer. No front bar should be as loose as it gets but I will definitely roll over the tire.

I’m going to try the softer oem bar
You are changing the front and rear roll rates. It'll be interesting to see how much it lifts the inside rear. This could become a problem with trail braking.

I know what you mean about how it feels. I thought my old SMF car felt good, then I went to a softer front bar. I got the same feeling you got, but now it was "pogo" sticking on the front tires and lifting the inside rear a lot.

so previously, the car was a tripod king. always three wheeling everywhere. This was due to almost no droop in the rear, then of course the rear bar eventually just ends up lifting that inside rear wheel. Always during trail brake/initial turn in.

I have much more droop now, and i am thinking to dial in more rear droop as i dont seem to be at all compression travel limited back there. I also expect the rear needs less compression travel vs the front.

Will really have to get on track and test all of the things!

I roll the tire over on street tires with a hotchkis front (soft, but still way stiffer than most)

dont need no front bar where we're going lol....maybe. We will see anyways. There are a few 8th gen civics running around with no front sway bar but most likely more spring rate, and most guys run WAY too much static camber to compensate for tire roll over
braking and throttle application dont matter to these guys i guess
