Custom Shift Cable

Just got my quote back from Cable Craft, this would be the best place to get cables besides Midwest Control, which still has not gotten back to me. I’ll poke them tomorrow just to get 2 competing quotes.

Attached is the pricing PER CABLE not including brackets. I’m still working on that quote.
If I was to guess, the kit all in will be a little over $300. Material costs are through the roof right now so no wonder these are not very cheap.

Hopefully you get more interest to lower the price a little but still not bad for upgraded cables.

And I'm reviving this thread again! okay so I had a forum up about my shifter not going into all the top gears and learned that my cables are too stretched which was kinda confirmed reading other forums and yes I tried tightening the cable and it partially worked but its only a matter of time until all my top gears stop working completely. assuming of how much of a pain in the ass that is I'm assuming it is going to take me all weekend just to replace those cables. Would it be easier to take the L and pay that $400 to replace with OEM? or is this upgrade going to be worth it? I'm also going to replace my shifter boots with metal ones from Edge Autosport in hopes and prayers that it will fix my shifting problem ahaha. Any advice if I do go about doing this aftermarket replacement

Let me know if you can find it cheaper or this is the only option as i might have to take you on that offer due to me needing to replace my cable.

I like gossip, what's the skinny?
Long story short he’s a piece of trash that makes terrible quality parts. He talks shit about vendors that have been around a long time, then steals their products and remakes them using chinesium quality components and then sells them to people that don’t know any better. He is community trash.

Wasn’t sure but thanks for the update. Whats your update on pricing for your kits? Any updates?

On the back burner right now. Work picked up and I have had 0 time to continue this project. Maybe after winter I will revisit it, I meant to make an update but forgot.

I'd be happy to look into making brackets from whatever gauge would be strong enough for these. Probably 11-12 AG should be fine. Haven't looked at a shift assembly for an ms6 yet so I'm not sure how they compare to the ms3

I have a cad design and everything for the brackets for an MS6. I also have quotes from a few places for the cables, but they are a tad bit high for my liking, that’s also part of the reason for putting it on the back burner. All said and done if this is not more cost effective over a Rey’s kit, I won’t be pursuing it.
I will gladly keep you in mind if I decide to pick it back up soon.

Honestly driving my buddy's big turbo ST with the Hurst short throw. Makes me want to pay 300 bucks to shift like that. Said y'all aren't quite sure on lengths for the 3? I'll be pulling the motor soon so I may as well measure. I'll try and find that parts list unless you've got it laying around somewhere. Tired of these sloppy shifts

I have literally all of the information needed to make a kit, length and all for an MS6.

@Sleepin6 I couldn't find any MS6 cables on his website regardless. I am highly interested if anyone can fab me up a bracket that would be fantastic. id be more than willing to pay it would still be cheaper than OEM so I'm all ears

@_Mazdarati i mean its pretty hard to go cheap on a bracket. Do you know how he is getting his cables? and has anyone received one from his previously? If it is something i really should avoid i just want to be sure. The convenience does sound nice rn ngl
