@aaronc7

Might have figured out the boost issue; I think I might have done the math wrong for the additive...
MAPv * Base * Second + Additive is the right way to go, whereas I *might* have been subtracting the additive (double subtraction).

If this is accurate, I'm off by about 25 KPA across the entire curve... Correcting for that in the log makes it look like this:
3rd gear.jpg

A whopping 6 PSI sees 3.8v @ 8k RPM...I don't think I'll need more than a stock MAP sensor to max the turbo after all.

I considered that as a possibility, but a 25 kPa difference didn't seem to make it right either. You had about about 50 KOEO right? That's brings it up to 75.... But not close to the 90 you should be seeing. I forget the exact details of what you saw but does that sound right?

The additive probably still needs work, but running it as a double subtraction makes it positive so I'm reasonably sure that's what the issue is. I'll find out here in a bit.
[doublepost=1559183044][/doublepost]Some notes:
1. It doesn't like being below 2500 RPM. No nuts, hard to even cruise below that.
2. The rear view mirror is useless at all RPMs, but it's consistently so; looks like the engine is perfectly balanced and there's no resonance available to even begin to cancel out the vibes.
3. ....I might be over timing already, even though I'm only targeting 16 degrees @ 8k...

On to the shitshow:

That falloff is why I think I'm over timing. Have a peek at the Load, MAFv, Timing and HP curves:

Oh yeah, then there's this:

Keep in mind the pu basket doesn't have a thread on top like the gen 1. So sealing that evo x in the tank will take some creativity

*Sigh*
Map sensor works properly now. Apparently the tables are for the ECU, and for viewing/logging you have to add the absolute mani pressure pid and set it to use the 3.5 bar sensor in the config for the PID for boost and shit to read properly, then you can remove it.

Now fluctuates between 0 and -0.02 PSI KOEO.

I tollllldd you that in Shout, my dude! Keep an eye on it whenever you restart VT; mine has a glitch where it usually resets that monitor to stock MAP.

Yeah well whatever. Tires, fuel access cover, and EBCS hookup tomorrow at a minimum.
Let me just say that I've been following this from the beginning and I'm so excited to see the progress coming in steadily again.

New list (in order of importance / timeframe):
Sunshade
Full wash and detail
Reinstall TMIC duct scoops (if I still have them)
Coolant fittings for turbo (need to reroute before it cooks)
Lightweight shift knob
New 360 dash camera and seat mount
Headlight braces
Meth parts
6th port

Oh and 15 deg VVT seems to have pepped it up a bit.

In case you don't have your tmic ducts, @deldran should have a garbage bag full of that shit from when I sold him my juan....unless he trashed it all.
