New k04 problems

Still no luck. The tiny leaks I found have been delt with. Talking with the turbo manufacturer they believe my cat is clogged "will check this weekend" doubtful. I now believe either the wastegate is stuck open but I'd think then if have zero boost. Correct me if I'm wrong. Or my new ebcs is not working correctly. Still only making 13.81 psi.

Well that guy is stuck in a room with a moving floor that happens to be sandpaper and it appears he has fallen. It also appears as if he's perpetually stuck against that wall with basically a belt sander for a floor. Factor in the effects of gravity and I'd say dude is having a rather shitty time.

Well, that seems productive and helpful. Time we'll spent. Horrible drawing.. but time we'll spent.

Apologies good sir. I missed where he asked for a log. If I can figure out how to post 1 I will do so. Thank you

Only thing that stands out in the log is that the WGDC climbs but the boost doesn't; otherwise everything looks healthy in the log.
Recommend getting photos of the engine bay, specifically of how you have the WG hoses and such connected; though you may be buying a new solenoid if that doesn't pan out (not showing any issues I mean).

Just so you know why I'm saying this:
The stock boost control setup has boost pressure going from the turbo to the wastegate (this part appears to work fine). This boost pressure causes the wastegate to open earlier than it normally would (which is equivalent to 0% WGDC).

The other port on the WGA goes to the EBCS, which bleeds off boost pressure, subsequently increasing the force on the wastegate (higher % WGDC). This is helped by the port on the EBCS being connected to the vacuum side of the turbo, which helps pull more air out than would normally be vented.

So, if you have the hose from the EBCS going to the intake manifold instead of the intake, you've shot yourself in the foot and no amount of WGDC is going to give you the boost numbers you're expecting to see.

Also, and this is fucking CRITICAL:
When you think you've fixed the issue, you MUST disconnect power to the battery OR reflash the same tune in order to clear the learned WGDC behavior; failure to do so could result in an overboost situation and cost you your engine.

Hard to tell in the pictures. The line coming glfrom the top. Or small port on the wastegate goes to the ecbs nipple closest to the solenoid. The other nipple on the ecbs goes to my intake pipe. The line on the bottom on the wastegate, or the bigger port on wastegste goes back to the turbo its very short and is under the turbo.

Might be time for a 3 port EBCS.
Also consider upgrading the hose you have going from the WGA to the EBCS, as it looks like that shit would collapse under vacuum or maybe inflate under boost.

Looks like washer fluid hose to me.

Idk whatbit is. It's whatever was on it when I bought it. The ebcs on it I bought when I swapped turbos because I broke a nipple off the old one. So it seems to be plumbed correct. So the ebcs is likely the culprit. Couldn't run a manual boost controller of would the computer throw a fit if it's not plugged in?

You are not tuned for an MBC; even swapping to a 3 port, it would be a good idea to get a touch up on your tune, but if you set it up right, you should be OK without one (3 port in 2 port mode, one NO port blocked and that may be good enough, if the flow rate isn't too different compared to stock).

Just my luck. Oriellys swapped me my ebcs for another new 1. That's Def not the issue. Still only building between 11 and 13psi

Did you change out or at least inspect the hoses between WGA and intake?
Pulled them and looked for cracks. Looks fine. Couldn't find anything to swap with it yet both of those hoses are really short.

Maybe the brand new turbo is junk???lol

Shouldn't a boost source be going into the ebcs closest to the connector? Mine has a line off of the top of the wastegate.

It has to be something dumb that I'm missing. No leaks, new ebcs same vacuum lines checked for cracks that I was using before.
