For 60psi it is at 300 l/hr that i converted to 5000cc/min. Probably ok to add 4x 500cc at 80% IDC + 3000cc of the stock systeme.
But at 80psi it gives only 235L/hr. 3920cc/m. I'm right to assume it is a bit small for 4 injectors ?

The stock regulator is at 60psi, so you should be more than fine from what I understand. My dw300c should have been enough as well for my 630cc injectors at 60psi, but alas dw pumps might live up to their reputation for me

Somewhat small update. Everything is hooked up, set the regulator to between 40-45 psi at the gauge on the PI rail. Used a compressor and a regulator, added 10psi to the boost reference port on the regulator saw 10psi on the rail. 20 psi, same deal, so everything seems to be working as it should.

Next up will be tuning for this and seeing where it ends up. Im going to make a post (maybe add it to the first post) with a list of all the parts I used and lengths of hose and what not. Figured it would be good if anyone wanted to try and duplicate the set up.
 
Thanks for the update. Interested in how it works out. Going to be running a similar set up but with a surge tank and stock fuel pump. Keep this update as you can

Sorry for the delayed response but the aeromotive pump supplied enough fuel to a 6th port setup with 2 2200cc injectors to make a little over 600whp on a friend's car. Same 6th port setup that I had but I used to the DW equivalent pump. I've heard better things about the Aero pump than I have about DW. I'd say that setup would be perfectly okay, like @Maisonvi said above.

hi Mate, it has been interesting reading this thread and your never ending modding thread. i put up that post on FB about PI kits and what i will need here in the uk. so if i was to buy the parts that you have listed and run it the way you have said will that work as i was thinking to go for 1000cc injectors and thought about a surge tank also. any help would be appreciated.

Im now running 1000cc injectors without a surge tank. Is it a bad idea to have one? No. It would for sure make for a more robust system, but you dont have to have one. You can see a few posts back I posted a diagram in MS paint of how my system is run now. I can re-evaluate the fittings I used for the system as it sits now. But really if you are handy enough you can make up something.

If you dont want to have to modify the stock tank, the surge tank may be the way to go. Im not sure if you would need to upgrade the stock in tank pump still, but at that point you are buying 2 fuel pumps.

What are you looking for exactly? just a parts list of what I used?
 
No i was reading somewhere that a surge tank may be a better overall set up, but this is only going to be my daily but have put all the parts i need to go all the way if need be. i will be the first person in the uk to do this if i can pull this off.

I have a the v2 mani and a Aeromotive 325 Stealth Fuel Pump (P/N 11165) already just fitted as i'm getting the car forged and the car is in a garage as we speak. If i can get away with a surge tank then so be it, this can be added at later stage if i need more power. i Would really appreciate a full parts list which you have used, i have been checking on your list and done some research on what parts have been mentioned and if i can buy in the uk or will it be cheaper in the USA.

Many thanks, could you also give any web links ? Also if money was not an issue would you have done anything differently too ? e.g going for different or better parts, if you feel you needed them.
 
Absolutely skip on a surge tank, ESPECIALLY if it's a daily. They're usually damn loud and extremely annoying. Not only that but if you don't have everything set up right and plumbed properly you'll have nothing but nonstop headaches. The only good reason to use a surge tank is if you're having fuel starvation issues and don't want to move to a fuel cell or sump your fuel tank. Seeing as this isn't an issue with mazdaspeeds, just drop in a large pump, or pumps into the stock tank and call it a day. It's worlds simpler than a proper surge tank setup and a fraction of the cost.

Bryce will swear up and down you "have to get a fuel cell because of starvation". I've never had an issue and have been on the track with less than 1/4 tank. So, yeah a surge tank isn't needed for sure

I will say in my car at a little less than 1/4 tank, doing a WOT pull in 4th was a no-no. Wether it was from something being weird with my bucket, or I was just flowing more fuel, who knows.
 
Quite a few high hp MS3 guys I've spoken to have had a scare with starvation on upgraded ITFP's in the stock tank. Kevin (hockeynube) (has the swiss cheese'd basket mod with Aero 325 pump how-to on here somewhere and talked about his starvation experience there), Shawn, Bryce, and Jake ditched the tank all together and with baller Aeromotive setup for this reason alone I believe, David from Kozmic (created the K27 stock location cell for this reason alone). Even Chad with the 10.2 second white gen1 had a starvation event recently that melted the head and headgasket that Jordan at Overspeed was telling me about. At this point with these many 600whp+ guys saying the stock tank is a problem on bigger ITFP's, there definitely must be. I'm definitely going with Radium surge tank and I will not even be drag racing or doing hard cornering
 
Simple solution is don't run with a low fuel level. Spending thousands on a custom fuel setup that has more potential failure, adds weight, and/or is a pain in the ass to fill up can easily be avoided by putting a couple more gallons of fuel in the tank. It's a stupid place to save weight and if you're that concerned about weight then do yourself a favor and take 10 minutes to remove your passenger seat.
 
They are all drag cars.. every single one of them are stripped and have a lot more weight reduction then passenger seat deleted lol. Some of these cars were above 1/2 tank mark but alright
 
And apparently not a single one of them considered sumping the stock tank and moving to an external pump either...

Just because someone owns a drag car or a fast car doesn't mean they're smart. Most of the time it just means they're willing/able to throw more money at a car than other people.

And a gallon of gas weighs around 6lbs, the difference between above half and full is like 30lbs. For 30lbs I'd rather focus on trying to be a better driver than worry about shedding weight.
 
Yeah I'm not at 600+ up (probably somewhere around 550 at best) but I have had no issues with starvation on the track (road course, straight lines don't interest me). Granted i also don't let it run below a 1/4 tank really because at like 5mpg that could leave me stuck on the track mid session.

That said, if I did have issues I was working on a remote pick up if I ended up needing one.
