Mazdaspeed 6 stage 3

Hi.
I am adjusting the ecu for my mazdaspeed 6. With forged engine and BNR S4.
The question is that my Coob Accesport does not indicate the IDC well and I do not know where the limit will be.
Currently I am going with a 29psi turbo pressure from 4000 to 5000rpm decreasing to 26psi at 7000rpm.
The proportion of gasoline at the moment is safe, between 10'8 and 10'4 afr

My fuel system is only improved on hpfp Autotech. Currently my Accessport reaches IDC highs of 142%.

This is two logs, at 4 and a small 5 speed test.
The doubts I have are:
- What real value is the IDC?
- What pressure limit from 4000 to 5500rpm can I do with the BNR S4?
- I am also having trouble achieving the afr goals. As you can see, in wot it is always below 11. And in the fuel tables, it should not drop below 11afr until after 5500rpm.

That would be two months ago, with boost targets of 28psi at 4000rpm decreasing to 25.5psi at 7000rpm.

That IDC is accurate for the boost you're trying to run. You need aux fuel
100% this, you def are out of fuel and are straining the stock setup way too much. Those numbers are accurate. With a larger turbo like the s4 you can easily get out of the range of stock fuel if you raise the boost "more air" too much. Your AFR is too rich through the entire pull which is also eating up fuel headroom. You def need aux fuel and should try and keep the OEM fuel system around 80 IDC for safety.

You WGDC is set to the moon right now and you don't have the fuel to back it up. Turbo comes on really hard and you are immediately out of fuel. You will need to dial it back if you want to keep the car in once piece until you have proper fuel , even then your tuning this more like a ko4 with a super hard and fast hit right away which is going to be hard on the motor and not always gain power down low as the motor can only use so much of that air at low rpm.

This is what proper aux fueling looks like. It peaks at about 85IDC and then PI kicks in and DI drops to 75 IDC by the time the pull is over. You can achieve this by flattening the maf curve past a certain point and filling in fueling with PI.

First, thank you all very much for the responses.
I am afraid my accesport does not correctly indicate the Injector Duty Cicle. I will develop my opinion.
1- With the turbo stock K04 it reached values of up to 115-120% IDC at 18.5psi with Boost Air Temp of 172º Fahrenheit. That I think is not normal and it is not possible with turbo stock and such hot air (low oxygen).
2- I know some people with mazdaspeed and accesport with stage 1 that also have high values, 90% IDC with turbo K04 at 12psi (5600rpm) boost. That is not possible.
3- Freektune did a reprogramming for me. 125% IDC values considered normal in my car (22-23psi BNR4 boost). I asked them how it is possible to exceed 100% IDC. They replied that my IDC calculation may not be correct. That an accessport calculation error was totally possible.
Regarding the excessively rich afr, I don't know why it should be. With Freektune reprogramming, the afr is 11'6-11'4 across the wot. I do not know the objectives of fuel tables.
It may be some mistake of mine. I am not professional in this.
Thanks for the help

You simply cannot run the boost curve youre trying to run on stock fueling. You could hit 20psi around 4000rpm tapering up to 24 maybe by 7k and be under 120% IDC. but 29 down low tapering to down to 24 up top, you are definitely out of fuel. Period.

Agree.
So you see the IDC value correct in these two examples?

A Mazdaspeed 6 with stock engine, COBB stage 1 map, 14psi stock turbo and 1.46 load at 5300rpm and IDC at 85%?

A Mazdaspeed 6 with S4 turbo BNR, Freektune first map, 16psi turbo pressure and 1.68 load at 6200rpm and 108% IDC?

Do you see all this as normal?

When was the last time the injectors were cleaned and serviced?

My old car gained 15% head room after having the 100k+ mile injectors cleaned

The log of the mazdaspeed 6 stock, has 50,000 miles. The log of the mazdaspeed 6 BNR S4, the injectors are new.

There are Mazdaspeed that your Accessport does not calculate the IDC correctly. I thought they'd already found out around here.

Am I missing something where are the actual logs? Can't really help without those. But I also trust Justin and I like to see what happens when he gives you a revision.

Also what is this "stage 3" nonsense Cobb is the only one who sells "staged" power packs for our platform and it sure as hell doesn't include a bigger turbo

I have turbo bnr S4 and forged engine. I call this a stage 3. Maybe I'm wrong.
Please, those who believe that I am saying nonsense do not bother in this post. I don't want to waste time or make anyone lose.

I thought it was common knowledge our fuel systems when healthy were maxed at 380whp. I also assumed that was MS3 380whp and not AWHP. I am on a BNR S4, tuned 11.8 AFR for extra headroom. sometimes my IDC hits around 105% but as others have said its just going straight into the exhaust without combusting. This area is a little foggy to me as well, ive always tuned my own cars but this last 2 months is the first time ive ever run out of injector. If justin is ok with it, he must know something i dont. In my mind 100% injector duty cycle doesnt seem safe.

I run 23PSI from 4k to 6k, virtual dyno has me at SAE corrected 410 and 398hp in the opposite direction. Lets ignore stages, if we are going to help we need specifics not generic terms that fail to describe your build properly.

I do not understand why so much fuss with having put stage 3 in the title of the post. It is just a post title. The modifications that my engine has are already detailed later.

Can you attach the .csv file for your S4 log with 108% IDC @ 16lbs of boost?
