The EFR IWG flows better than most larger EWG. Why wouldn't I?
Pics of my turbo attached; you'll notice that WG flow is pretty much a straight shot from the turbo inlet flange to the downpipe when the WGA is fully open; this means the amount of flow for this size flapper is superior to a 90 degree turbulent shitstorm that is a standard EWG. As it sits, even with the T25 flange, this turbo will flow in excess of 500 to the wheels on a genwon 3.

I see full-race kit only offered till 7163. Any idea why it can't go any larger? I guess it was due to limited space near firewall to fit in large EFR housing.

Won't fit. All A-Frame EFRs (up to 7163) come with a shorty WGA bracket so you can actually install it. If it didn't, you can't get it in the car with the engine installed.

Edit:
Second gen cars and MS6 can probably top mount a larger turbo, but that would require a custom manifold and downpipe to be made (downpipe is easy, since It's just a simple vband outlet).

If you do that, get one twin scroll and at least a 7670, which I think is ideal for our cars from a response to top end perspective; the 8374 will be a little laggy and it will be hard to not blow the tires off in 3rd (maybe even 4th) unless MS6.

IMO I think the 8374 would perform awesome on our cars with a twinscroll setup. My 362 is pretty much the same size and I don't have that magical titanium turbine wheel and am still spooled up a bit north of 3500RPM.

Do you have any concerns about surge?

On the 7163?

Edit: I tested this on Matchbot and the consensus is that I can run a 15 psi spring no problem at 2500 RPM. From there, 20 PSI @ 3k and 25 @ 4k, then a whopping 40 PSI @ 5k resulting in 475 WTQ and 450 WHP. Yahtzee.

Yes on your new setup. In my experience matchbot gives very typical on paper answers, doesn't really reflect real world results all that much. I'd bet you could run more boost than that at a lower RPM, that is a good baseline though. Also, I haven't looked at the comp map for the 7163 but 40psi seems pretty far towards the top of map, no?

It's Dano, the man-o! :D Anyways, back on topic... You going to tune for this now, Enki, and just redo the whole process after you de-stroke?

I don't know what you mean...The car is on jack stands, and the wiring harness is in a box on my bed so there's literally no way I could tune it right now.
